I doubt we will even make week 2, our bench and it's rotations are truly z grade stuff. Our defence is sloppy and lazy and our attack in the 20m is still not good enough. If we don't turn up against the Bronco's they will flog us they have found a hard edge this season something that has been lacking in all of Bea Arthurs 9 years here.

Sorry it's a broken record not worth playing again. There's half a dozen of you who don't like him being selected. I get it. I even understand it. TBH I would prefer the conversation included viable alternate players that offer versatility and low error rates, but that's probably not going to happen.

For mine, hooker/half/lock Brendan Hands failure to make a statement in NSW Cup is the bigger talking point than Jake being selected for his < 10 min cameo.

I don't want to see him fail. I don't want to see him in the team. At the beginning of the year merkins were saying he is only getting picked so we can shuffle the backline because Niukore was injured and Niukore would usually cover the backline. Now Niukore is back (in fact we have a full compliment of players besides Dunster) and we still have JA on the bench. Niukore and Matterson both provide versatility. Nathan Brown makes our 17 better than JA. There is no reason to have JA in the side.

I disagree. Unless someone pulls out in the halves how can you justify Jake Arthur over Nathan Brown, Cartwright, Rodwell or Mitch Rein?
