Would Farah come here? He’s 34/5 and been forced out once of the Tigers. Would they do it again? He has a good relationship with his current coach too. I’d say it’s either retire or tigers for Robbie.

Why would he retire if he can milk another 150k or so out of someone?

Oregon is not better than Timmy right now, so why pick him ?

Salmon can't play Round 1, so Taka gets the gig.
So Tim is not better than Oregon but he is our future, Mannah is our past.
Regardless wouldn't you at least pick Salmon at centre to see how he goes against quality opposition? BA has him pencilled in for that position. Taka is our past and for defence past it at centre.

We have basic rookies in Mahoney,Brown,Nikuore plus people seem to think Salmon will be in the team rnd 2.
I think Taka should hold spot unless Salmon looks to good in reserves.
On Kafusi whats the rush? He is 19. It isnt like he will come into NRL and be this HUGE upgrade on Mannah. Maybe in 2yrs he would be but now now. At best he will be a slight improvement. Let him have 3 weeks at Wenty and compare him with Evans and Stefano. If he is killing it there and far superior to the two mentioned he becomes first in line.

Mannah may be declining, but you don't pick a rookie if he can't match Tim's efforts.

Our first NRL game is vs Panthers and Salmon can't play. Taka needs to prepare and we need him at his best. Especially if he is aiming up against Blake or Whare.

It is up to Salmon to get that gig back now. It's healthy to have competition for spots and others putting pressure on the first 17.

But Segy is on the cost of a bag of peanuts. How would it free up the lets say 500k?
NRL will go easy on the Sharks for sure. And its completely feasible they were over the cap the year before and year after their maiden premiership but compliant when they won. Everyone stop laughing it is feasible, really, after all the NRL believes it.

Mannah might not be better than Kaufusi but he adds more of what we need right now, which is experience.

A bloke who is still eligible for Flegg will get plenty out of playing reserve grade. As you say there’s no rush to bring him into first grade unless he will make a difference. The biggest difference he will make at the moment is rookie mistakes.

Salmon will be in the centres with Mennings once he completes his suspension.
WSmith is unfortunately our only backup "9" at the moment... (although one other option being discussed would make BA pretty unpopular me thinks). Let's just hope Mahoney stays fit.
I initially suggested Farah but after some further consideration I reckon it could be Josh Reynolds to play the utility role and cover for the halves. Whilst I’m less enthused it would still be an improvement on Smith.

He’s also excess to the tigers’ needs

Would love Reynolds.
