From everything I’ve read Rankin has zero interest in playing first grade. He is assistant coach/captain of the cup and that’s his focus

Same. I said it yesterday simply because it's the least disruption. Leave everyone where they are, slot in Hodgo and if Matto and Laney can play, even better. It will be an off-load-a-thon.

From Monday night's game Eels winger Maika Sivo was cited for Grade 1 Dangerous Contact, stemming from an incident on opposite number Jacob Kiraz.

As it is Sivo's 3rd and Subsequent Offence of that type, he faces a $3000 fine with an early guilty plea that becomes a two-match ban if found guilty at panel.
