How did we go from a gun team on paper, to one of the worst in the space of one season, and with money in the bank????

The recruitment team have really f**ked up. Considering how the other top teams have gone backwards this season, if we kept our 2022 team, we would have been a serious contender this year....

To be honest, I haven't thought of us as a gun team for quite some time. Right now, we're in a quandary ( which is something that we're all too familiar with). There's quite a few players who are either out of form or shouldn't be even near the team. I also don't think that BA is going to win a premiership with us. I find many of his decisions quite questionable. On top of that, our recruitment decisions and junior development programs aren't up to scratch. But, we all know this already. Skill overrides luck, and we don't have enough of either this year.

He’s not looking quick, but Interestingly seems to win more collisions in the middle than Sivo and Simonsson.

Im not down on Superman. Love his pace. Runs hard. I reckon his collision is more powerful than Sivos or Dunsters. Dunster has a long way to go.

Should he be playing fewer mins. He looked gassed with 10 mins to go.

I still have the Townsville prelim in my head where an unplanned poke in the eye forced him off for a 15 min HIA check in the first half was pivotal to us making the GF as Laney had just enough petrol in that final 15 mins to make some huge plays defensively.

Same with Ice. It was a coaching master class.

I don't get buried enough in all of this to have a qualified opinion. But I think we have more than enough resources to do better than what we are producing. That goes right across the board.
