After knocking off Melbourne in round 2. I reckon the chooks are the last team that we haven't knocked off in the past 4 years and have a stranglehold over us.

Knock off the chooks and i reckon we get that belief we can beat anybody.

That game last year was there to be won. We matched them when they were at full strength. I reckon tedesco going off through us off more then the chooks. We just thought we were going to steamroll them with all that momentum and took the foot of the pedal for 5 mins and game was over.

On Triple M last night they were discussing the Eels and the comment was made that we’ve had an easy draw to start the year. That the Storm were under strength and that Canberra are not playing well.

I don’t think he’s far from the Mark.
We had a big win against Melbourne at home which has been our biggest win in hindsight. All the other teams have t been playing all that well to be honest. Canberra seemed like a big scalp at the time but in retrospect they are just really down on form.
I will be very interested to see how we go this weekend against the Roosters. Yes they are down on troops a bit but they are still a top class team. We are yet to play Penrith, Souths or Storm in Melbourne so hard to gauge where we are compared to those two teams. All we can do is win against who we are playing that weekend, and so far that’s what we’ve done (except for the dragons game).

I actually think we've had an easy draw as well. That said, I think we're a better chance of winning the comp than I did in the pre-season.
