Gutho on BSB this morning pretty much said we are at the stage where team changes were required and expected this week.
I just listened to he interview on Spotify on my way home.

He sounded more serious then usual.

Normally he is more jovial in that weekly interview.

Well they offer different games. The answer to that will be vs Dogs next week when Jnr returns. Bench will be interesting.

How good getting troops back.

The answer is Grieg has leapfrogged Makatoa. BA started him and is again. That says he has trust in him. We all know what Makatoa can do. Grieg if we can bring up to the speed of NRL can be a very good prop.
The idea of starting him when Jnr is back is not a bad option. If he can get that first 18mins then Jnr come on. Jnr would realy bring a lift come the 18 min mark. Then you inject Hands and Hopgood and all of a sudden the bench has a bit of impact.

Our side has much more of a Parra flavour to it now.
1 - 7 is basicaly Parra. Yes Guth and Sivo come from elsewhere but we unearthed them.

Add Jnr and Matterson and all of a sudden there is quite a few Parra juniors.
Let's hope Mataele and Doorey can force their way in. This is what you need to be winning comps. Kids that come in from your system and love the club.

Sure, but if you need 50+ mins in the middle with some hard work thrown in, you wont go Emu.

At the moment with this 17 with have plenty of spare in the tank off the bench, so we won't call on Emu to do more than 2 stints with a big gap in between.

And hopefully Sivo has had a huge boot up his ass and been put on notice.
Yep, Sivo has been nullified both at our end of the field ( which he always has been anyway) but now also at the other end of the field. Unless he's getting the ball with fresh air in front him 10 metres out he ain't scoring, he is being well contained. Opposition sides are showing him the sideline and he's all out of ideas now that he can't steamroll blokes as much as he was before...

Pretty much. Makatoa has peaked, whereas Greig still has room for development (we are in desperate need of a real impact forward that can take pressure off RCG/Paulo - wouldn’t be surprised if BA see Greig as filling that role).

I would argue edges and middles are in their peak around 27-30.

I hope not. Whilst great with the ball last week and good in contact, his slow peel was the reason Brandon Smith had his best game in Roosters colours.

With more game time Grieg will get more up to speed. Forwards take 2 seasons to get up to the speed of NRL.
It's a process. 10mins won't help. If we can give him 30 mins a game by the later rounds you will start to see a different player.

Your little birds are the most reliable inside info we have

Well the little birds nailed it with Moses and Dylan info. Now they come with fresh news. People want to discredit the little birds but like you said they are more hit then miss
