I think most fans support the mass exodus, but it would be nice to hear about any incomings for this year if we’re lucky, or some news for next season soon.

Yeah 100% would give us a little hope going into next year if we can start to see some decent signings for next year will have to wait for the 2027 signings I assume

It's taken the Dogs 3 seasons to get to where they currently are.
This isn't going to happen overnight, let alone this season.
But we can’t keep letting players go and replacing them with reserve graders / bench players and expect to improve.

So we should go out and buy 4 bench utilities?

I'd argue that its not that much of a similar situation. The squad Ryles took over, while aging, is stronger than the generational mediocrity that Ciraldo inherited when he started at the Dogs. Having Moses, the incumbent NSW and Australian halfback, proves that alone. Ryles' detonation of our roster in my view has been pre-emptive, embracing short term pain for long term success.

I agree it will at least take a season, but I do believe that with a few smart signings for next season, coupled with all our rookies having an extra season of experience, we can be in a pretty good position for 2026.

And so it continues:
Shaun Lane is taking some time away from the game

His head hasn't been in the game since he made that f**king documentary. So it seems like his time away might be much needed.

Good for the club to support his needs, and I hope the time does Lane good as a person - and helps him make good choices about where his future (even beyond rugby league) lies.
