Yeah. when dunster first came into NRL, i didnt like what i saw. I called him duster. he was getting so dominated. To be honest, I was a Dunster fan in the juniors and was thrilled to see him show his potential in late 2021.
I was also happy to see him return this year - but when your centre turns to look for you on a line break and you are not within a bulls roar and are instead appearing to lope but obviously trying (twice), then we had to have hoped he'd been taken out (which he hadn't).
I suggest you watch the replay, because it was a pretty obvious and basic failure. Sometimes a stat line doesn't tell the true picture.
You do realise that some decisions are wrong? You don't have to blindly defend absolutely everything.
Then one year, i think just before the run to the finals, he ran hard and started being safe under the ball and I was impressed.
But today, he is not ready to be back in NRL. He needs to work on his acceleration and speed again. He is not tommy t who can play at 65%.
Those 2 times when Peni was looking for him were tries. Against a better team, these are what would cost us the game possibly
