You need a specialist hooker to fire nice passes. Stones fine if you copped and injury and had to use him. But you don't start a guy who isn't a hooker there.
Unless BA plans to give W.Smith big minutes. I'm talking 60mins.
Also don't get how Matterson isn't named.

I did think that at first and it’s possible.

but then BA in his interview today did specifically mention it wouId hard to leave Stone out.

While lussick is ok maybe the thinking is BA liked what Stone did in the first 30 or so last week with his intensity/energy in defence (it’s definitely BA playing style). And wants that again by Stone, where the game is normally fairly tight.

Then Smith can come on after 30 or so where the game opens up.

Stone may not offer the greatest service but offers better defence then lussick.

While Smith offers better attack then Lussick.

it also allows us to carry a utility and spread the playing minutes out better.
