Clearly Lussick has picked up a knock. These things happen. It’s rotten luck that our three hookers are injured. I do however think the Stone/Smitty combo will work ok. Stone was sensational last week in defence and we need more of the same upfront against the Knights pack.

I think Lussick is a loss but some of his service hasn’t been great either. Great to see Reg back.

Read Lussick has a calf strain. With all the guys BA rest last week and considering we only have one hooker at the club that's fit maybe he was the guy given priority to rest.

Surely Lussick is injured?? Against the Storm he played his best ever game in first grade. And surely Kaufusi is out due to a head knock he was the best forward on the field that first half. Maka was good but for an20-25 mind stint Kaufusi would add plenty more. And surely Matto comes straight back in?? Bea is not smart enough to be playing games FFS!!

I would love stone to practice the dummy half role in the off season but now....

BA tried that 2 pre seasons ago. Stone would never last with the workrate required of a BA hooker. Hes only 1 tackle off hurting something. Lussick should not have been risked last week. Amateur move.

The best one was he took Mahoney off with 15 mins to go in a close game against Canberra but left him on with 10 mins to go against South’s when down by 30 when he got injured. Such a genius footballing mind.

Hayze Perhaps goes alright. Agreed on Makatoa. It's obvious why it took him so long to debut. He is a reserve grader. High involvement is an asset is you're elite but otherwise just means you're taking carries from more effective runners. If we needed long minutes from him in defence (and we obviously did) he would've stayed effective for longer with fewer carries. Give them to Ferguson and Lane instead. Opacic's hit ups are quite good too.

Looks like BA might disagree with you. In a rare occurrence, I agree with the bald merkin.

BA is kidding himself why all of sudden change what worked against melbourne. RCG and Matto should have been the only changes made to that team from 2 weeks ago.

I have been calling for Papalii to be brought off the bench for 6 weeks just to freshen him up i just think its dumb move to wait for a knock out semi final to do it after giving him a week off anyway and rewards one of our laziest forwards in Shaun Lane with a starting spot.
