How would we know he has no speed. Yes he has been a bit pedestrian turning to chase kicks but he is not used to that desperation yet and is leaving it to his fullback who also has been a bit slow to get there and it will come.I have a feeling that Mary will drop Leilua for Korbin Sims.
Ravalawa will probably be given another week to improve.
Ravalawa is certainly powerful.
It’s his lack of speed that concerns me.
Hoping his lack of speed relates to our training regime, otherwise I would consider Marsters or Pearson for a wing spot.
In an ideal world, Lomax to Centre.
After watching 360 last night
We can all forget about changes unless someone is injured or suspended .
Korbin in - Kerr out
That’s it
And that sucks

Put the sprinklers on all night on the area where the wingers are, won’t affect our team because our wingers don’t get the ball.I think Mary wants to revolutionise the game:
- 98 metre fields
- 40 minute matches
Straight Shooter

In terms of his speed when has he been given clear space to run outside Aitken to judge that. Not once.

No. That cannot be explained. Can someone explain why possm has an insane obsession with playing Korbin Sims, a genuine middle forward, in the unfamiliar position of right second row (an edge position) in place of Host, who has been one of our best performers over the first 2 games?
Or why anyone would want to drop Lafai, one of the few players to show a shred of creativity so far this season, for one of 2 5/8s who have shown little interest and have no skill set for the position?
What is the bet that Mcidiot will pick the same team as last week Except for sims in the starting line up.
That is why Mary should be sacked, he just can't bring himself to make sensible and logical change. The players who performed poorly in round 2 are:
Yes their are others who looked fatigued in the second half and did not play at their best however, I believe that if the above players were replaced by:
- Ravalawa
- Aitken
- Lafai
- Leilua
- Latimore
We would most probably see a vast improvement for round 3.
- Pearson
- Lomax
- Dufty - If he can defend well and take the high ball confidently
- K Sims
- Robson
So the following players dropped to CC:
These players would now have to win back their positions in first grade.
- Ravalawa
- Aitken
- Lafai
- Leilua
So, given the above ins and outs, below is my preferred team for round 3.
1. Dufty
2. Pereira
3. Lomax
4. Widdop/Norman
5. Pearson
6. Widdop/Norman
7. Hunt
8. Kerr/Timm
9. McInnes
10. Vaughan
11. T Sims
12. K Sims
13. Lawrie
14. Robson
15. Graham
16. Kerr/Timm
17. Host
Yes four forward on the bench reducing fatigue and competing with the Broncos young forwards.
Lafai made 146 metres, the most of any of our backs. That is why Mary should be sacked, he just can't bring himself to make sensible and logical change. The players who performed poorly in round 2 are:

Lafai made 146 metres, the most of any of our backs.
He also made 8 tackle busts, 6 offloads, a try, a try assist, a line break and a line break assist.
Plus only missed 1 tackle for an 89% tackle efficiency.
Are you sure he was one of the worst on the park?
Like most, can't help you there either. Too much time on his hands perhaps? Widdop at 4 is a fascinating proposition. Having plenty of trouble in a position he's rarely played, let's chuck him in one he's never played. Mary, get it done! Can someone explain why possm has an insane obsession with playing Korbin Sims, a genuine middle forward, in the unfamiliar position of right second row (an edge position) in place of Host, who has been one of our best performers over the first 2 games?

From what I've seen so far of Ravalawa we would hardly notice the difference if we moved Aitken to Ravalawa's wing, Aitken is a strong guy who would bring the ball back just as well, he maybe able to even catch the ball, that'd be a bonus, and in terms of speed I doubt Aitken would lose a match race with him. Then Norman can move and add another dimension at centre and get Widdop back to running the team from 5/8 and Dufty given a chance to make a difference at FB rather than 5 minute guest appearances. Lomax on standby if Dufty falters.I would add also that Pearson, the next assigned messiah to our wing spot, playing CC last Saturday, had:
10 runs for 65m, yep a whopping 65m.
1 kick return metre
But he did make 1 tackle, for the whole game.
Ravalawa stats were:
10 runs for 95m
58 kick return metres
He made 3 tackles, but missed 1.
I wouldn't be rushing Pearson in until he shows something more than that, and it is almost laughable that Lafai should be replaced at this stage. Aitken is the liability, and that's where Lomax should slot in. Unfortunately for Zac, his defense at centre in the CC was a little missing with 3 missed and 2 ineffective tackles. Maybe he just needs more game time.
