Ok so this is my first post. Been a fan since the early eighties. Thought I would start a thread of a team 1-13 of my favourite dragons players. Im not talking about the 'best' team, but the team of the players I liked watching the most.

Mate, I love it. What about the penguin Graham Bradley one tough dude, also I loved Jeff Hardy very underrated footballer IMO. I actually think that Gourley was a better all round player than SBW. Now that should start a few arguments .

Gourlay was infinitely better in the Red V than SBW but the Roosters' jersey is another thing.

Being a child of the 70's id have to have some of the 70's GF teams in there. Teddy Goodwin was always my favourite plus some of the forward pack, Reddy especially.

Sounds like we're of a similar vintage, I like that side except I'd have Browny as Captain / Coach and I'd have to squeeze BMoz in, somehow.

I've got Jason Nightingale at fullback purely because I couldn't split him, Walford and Blacklock. I would have liked Hornby at fullback, but he led us to a premiership as our halfback and being born in 1985 I honestly couldn't remember too many standout halfbacks who I'd have over him.

I know many of you would think I was crazy for having Ryles in the side but I personally always loved the big man and his MONGREL lol. Yeah stupid penalties and silly offloads, but he was a genuine enforcer and one of the best metre eaters in the NRL in his prime.
