HaHa , Hannay hasn't got the courage to play Keno so will never have the bollocks for this . But i'm happy for you to coach for the last 4 weeks , it will be fun , just keep your meds close by .

And for what it's worth i fully expect to see Woods named to start with the C by his name , Hannay wont even have the courage to bench this guy .

Wilton still out as far as I'm aware, Hunt MIA too. Pretty bold to make 8 changes out of 17

This would be fun to run out with imo:

1. Kennedy
2. Katoa
3. Tracey
4. Ramien
5. Mulitalo
6. Metcalf
7. Trindall
8. Rudolf
9. Brailey
10. Fifita (c)
11. Nikora
12. Talakai
13. Williams
14. Hamlin-Uele
15. Vasquez
16. Tolman/Woods
17. Lualua

Feefs hasn't really done enough to earn a starting spot but he shows leadership at least

I like Fifita starting with C on his arm , always stepped up when captain in the past , ask him for his best 20 mins then put him back on later on where required , that way we're not left wondering when best to use him .
If E'se is half fit i would have him on the bench for BooBoo/Tolman , limited minutes maybe but we played with 3 on the bench last weekend , and will give us more leg speed when he came on .
OK , your AC to Stake for the last 4 weeks .

I’d go pretty much that but Tracey to the bench and give Lualua a go.
swap Vasquez out for the new signing O’Donnell?? Vasquez isn’t in our 2022 plans so no point.

I like thof giving feef the captain.

Cannot keep giving it to woods, it is embarrassing.

It just goes to show our lack of leadership. I can’t imagine anyone else with the captaincy. The halves are too inexperienced. The wingers ditto. The rest too thick or seem the wrong personality type.

Hell with it, give it to Ronnie. The bloke cares and will be in the side next year.

Agree with both comments K and cheese.
But stake starts the threads with no intention of taking part in them. The last 3 he has started he has taken no part in other than to kick it off then let’s people comment on, almost looking for attention. But that’s just my observation.

Make Jack Williams captain, he would lead from the front at least.

The captaincy did wonders for Gall, it is worth the risk, as Woods does not deserve to be captain

I'm not Nikoras biggest fan in the forwards but I agree with Stakey, he would make a great centre. Has a lot of finesse in his game, is fast, runs a good line, can catch and pass and defends well.

Personally l think captaincy is the very very least of our issues.
Defence is poor. No spine. Poorly coached and not everyone's on the same page. We could start there.

I don't think we will win another game to be honest.

I saw the young 7 from Tits put a grubber through the line for a try yesterday. He's had about 2 games and he's already laying on try's. Our 6 and 7 - l like them both - but they're in the wrong spots. Hannay doesn't agree.

On the captaincy...
Gus Gould is Penrith's youngest ever captain. He was 17.
Yep 17.
I think the coach was Ron willey. Maybe. Anyways Gus is now a leader at club admin and media level in this game. The coach identified those qualities early. Very early. Gus had played about 3 first grade games.

Captains arent made they're born.
In that current line-up the captain is Will Kennedy.

By making a guy like Woods captain - a guy who nobody respects, who won't lead from the front, who thinks it's all about him, who doesn't take it seriously - it actually has the opposite effect. And we are seeing the results.
