Four tries to three. All Paulo's fault apparently.

Peats let McGuire run right past him after Folau spilled the ball, and Wicks jersey grabbed hodges when he set up Nikorima's break. But Paulo's miss is the only one that gets a comment, because he's the scapegoat.

You losers are pathetic.

Paulos miss was a line break, if he even grabbed his jersey wicks would have made up for the brush off, paulos was a total miss.

If the execution is shit every week, isn't that cause for concern? We are 3 from 8, at what point would you like supporters to get angry, 5 from 20? 7 from 24?

The players WANT to play for him, remember?

It's not shit every week. It was very good against Manly and Souths, and pretty good in horrible conditions last week.

The fact is, our halfback is an inconsistent player. Norman has been very good, but Sandow is simply never going to be consistent. Plus we have had to overhaul our whole structure because we no longer get any ball playing from the back. So what do you want? Arthur cannot change what he has to work with this year, unless you're advocating Luke Kelly or Beau Henry as better options. He has seen the issue, and he has addressed it by signing the best five eighth in the game. Until then, we have Sandow and his inconsistency.

Personally I think the signs are all pretty good, but our lack of quality options in the opposition twenty will hurt us this year. Sadly there's not much we can do about it at this stage. However, we make plenty of yards up the field, the forwards usually do a good job and will look even better next year (and our defence will toughen up with Scott in the side). If we do that with Foran in the side, we won't have much to worry about.

Hah, fair play then! :D

We certainly got some aid from the refs on a few line ball passes but gee that 6 penalty differential resulted in some big territorial gains and 6 points on the board.

Until the last try to Milford when we seemed to have given up, the difference WAS the 3 penalty goals they kicked.

For mine our inability to convert any of the first half repeat sets into points was what killed us - we really need to learn how to score from within the 20. Mannah's no try was a nice play as was Burreto's last one with a nice inside pass from Chrissy but at one point in the first half we had 19 tackles inside their 20 to their 4 and it was 0-1 tries.

Don't forget another Pou pearl of wisdom. Sandow is destined to be great because Bennett picked him in the up and coming origin squad.

Eh?

All I said was we messed up, and they scored twice from it.

Folau was to blame for one drop, not Paulo.

Paulo had a shocker, but I'm not blaming him, you pidgeon.

Im surprised people haven't worked out Poupou Escobar yet,he/she is one of those people that always differs from popular opinon,he/she probably thinks Breaking Bad is a crap tv show, that Michael Jordan is bad at basketball and that Elton John isn't gay.

On trying to reflect on the game after cooling down
The forwards were OK! Don't know how to describe what Seffa does, as he drifts in and out of the fwds, but he was pig awful again tonight

Pauli needs to harden up, the rest did wel, not many breaks up the middle against us

norman was the best half on the field, Sandow struggled in th second half, and still doesn't give you what a good NRL 7 should, still difficult to dislike him though

Roby was serviceable , Fairamo did well, the centres went Sosa, Hoppa is frustrating because he should do better when in attacking positions, Falou is not NRL winger - losing Semi and Champion early really costs us

We lack real strike power and pace from the back and are really paying for losing the No. 1 player in the game with no chance of a replacement due to timing

Selections will,be crucial from this point on, the base of a decent team is there, but the holes are apparent and need to be filled , speed from the back, don't see anything other than French in the lower grades

Maybe it't the several beers talking here but look at the McGuire and 2nd Milford tries. Have a look at how many players bothered chasing until the try line and who gave up immediately.
Compare that to the Thurston miss when Sione scored and how pissed off he was with himself and you will see the difference. Watch after full time and from what I saw Gower and Mannah seemed to be the only guys upset about losing
