Look, we win that game if Folau held onto the ball and Norman put in a few more decent kicks on the last. Sure, the Broncos kicks did find the turf more often than not, but that's not what cost us the game.

The play where Oakes (I think) broke through 2 or 3 defenders to get out of the in-goal was a killer as well. Totally changed momentum. instead of us getting a repeat set they were out to the half way line on tackle 3.

They're all ifs and buts now though. I still think we could have won that game if a couple of things had gone our way, but the opposite could probably have been said about the Knights game the week before.

I'm just saying he could have run a lot more if he didn't let half a dozen hunt kicks find grass with better positioning

I think our forwards are being unfairly under recognised for how well they performed vs the broncos pack last night

I agree about our forwards, we won that battle fairly convincingly, I disagree on Robinson though.

Most of those kicks that find the ground are sent to the middle with Robbo and Falaou at the back, Falou's positioning is very poor, and Robbo's covering two thirds of the ground on the fifth.

No spills, no whoops I f**ked up.

Yes he could have on a number of occasions attacked the ball more, but there is risk associated with that, and as his KR stats show he consistently found the twenty - thirty, which meant we started our sets on the front foot and our forwards were making their first tackle inside the Broncos ten.

Robbo did his job, not spectacularly, but he did his job.

Lost by 12 even though you made 234 more metres. Sounds like your 5th options were poor, just from those stats.

We lost because we didnt have the composure and control that Brisbane did. Also our outside backs , as has already been pointed out many times, are just too slow, no genuine speed apart from Robinson.

We lost because the Donkeys defended their line, far better than we attacked it.

We gave ourselves more than enough opportunity to score more points through field position.

We were not good enough to convert that into points as often as we should have.

As I said, not enough control, composure and speed.
