And I still do. Does that mean I'm not allowed to point out his flaws? I think I'm starting to understand the mentality of a lot of fans on here.

So I need to choose players I love and players I hate. The ones I love I have to praise at every opportunity and never point out their flaws or failures. For the ones I hate I need to do the opposite. Got it.

Unfortunately for me I like all our players. And even my favourites (which include Peats) have flaws. Only pointed out Peats' failure on that play to highlight what hypocrites most of you are. You never say a f**king word when one of your favourites f**ks up. And when one of your scapegoats does something good you ignore it. Most of you are f**king pathetic.

I'm not fussed on Peats either way.

I didnt see the game so won't be making any comments on players performances. Obviously you're the only one who can comment on a players performance and its considered correct, obviously everyone else's opinion though is just people looking for a scapegoat.

Sorry if this has already been brought up but Ben hunts kicking gamehelped the broncos stay in that match, combined with ridiculous kick fielding positioning by reese Robinson, the number of times we'd compress and restrict the broncos to a 5th tackle kick (with very little pressure mind you) on their own 40m, and Ben hunt would hoist it up to miraculously find turf time and time again, and release the valve on field position, wtf were they doing back there?!

I remember Robinson catching plenty of kicks on the full and on the run. Also diffused a few high kicks. IMO he had one of his better games last night. Falou on the other hand is a slug.

Those were regulation catches again on the back of good territory, some of those kicked from inside the broncos 30m, and yet he still stops at the line

He ran for over 200m... I suppose at least he was catching them, more then could be said for his predecessor.

I stand corrected. You would expect most of his meters to come from kick returns wouldn't you?

Well to put it context both rts and Dugan ran for close to similar metres and of that both only recorded a third of their total meters for kick returns, that's called making an impact when your teams field position doesn't for you

I'm just saying he could have run a lot more if he didn't let half a dozen hunt kicks find grass with better positioning

I think our forwards are being unfairly under recognised for how well they performed vs the broncos pack last night

There is a lot of debate between many Souths fans about what his best position is. I think he has been one of our better and more consistent players all season and we need to retain him. His main strength is his speed and elusiveness. A lot of people say he is purely a finisher, but I think that view is misguided - have a look at the amount of metres he makes in general play through line breaks and line break assists. His weaknesses at the moment are his defence and his position when it comes to defusing bombs. I think with his defence, his physical strength is an issue; he needs to spend a few more years in the gym to add a bit of size to his frame.

If you are alluding to the rumors that have been circulating that Parra are interested in signing him, I don't think he is what you guys need. I think the money would be better spent elsewhere. Reece Robinson has been a very, very good signing and looks great at fullback. If you want to spend money on a winger, maybe go after Edrick Lee - very underrated player in my view. Also, I don't think money is what he is after; Johnston has stated in numerous interview that he wants to pull fullback so I think unless a team can offer him a fullback spot, he won't be leaving Souths.

Are you kidding?

We'll offer him a gazillion and the fullback spot whether he wants the money or not.

That's how we roll.

By your summation in all the threads every player is doing well. So where are all the errors coming from? Every individual performance is an addition to the team performance. You can't have one without the other.

:lol::lol:

Mental gymnastics is his forte mate. He won't disappoint.

So while Hayne's salary could potentially buy well over a dozen players on minimum wage, it doesn't work that way. His money is spread across the entirety of the squad, improving it overall.

ohhhhh, so thats how it works

when Hayne left everyone got their share of his money ?

makes sense

New signings certainly got his share of the money. Are you aware that teams need to spend a large percentage of the cap? It's impossible to go into a season a million bucks under the cap.

ohh, so now its the new signings ?

I thought you said everyone was supposed to get some

This will end up on 60 Minutes shortly.:lol:

I reckon Mannah has been "ok" this year but I certainly dont agree hes been close to our best forward.
Mau, Gower, Wicks, Terepo, Peats have been much better and if you ask Poo then Seffa is way out on front. Gower should be captain for mine.

This

Gower would make a great captain.

I'm f**ked if I can work out why Robinson would be seen as one of our big problems this season.....He has done his job satisfactorily, despite all the death riders.

he didn't cost us the match no, the blokes responsible for converting all that possession are.....but it doesn't help when you're forwards are on top to routinely let long range bombs land and undo all the good work your team mates did for you by starting on your 10 instead of 30. i wouldn't have mentioned it if it was only once.
