1. Yes, guess so - but the NRL is littered with over paid former Melbourne players who Bellamy, Cronk, Smith, Slater and formerly Inglis have made look better than they are...

Maybe a bit harsh on Townsend if so. Yeah, he had a terrible game last weekend, but he had been improving week to week before that. Going much better than i thought he would, tbh.

Townsend got nowhere near enough game time to warrant that, unless he has an off-field attitude problem.

I'd say Mateo is having major problems with the coach/management/teammate ... its very obvious when he is really keen (Broncos last year) and when he just plain doesn't give a stuff (this year). Someone somewhere has really brassed him off.
