Well Egan won't be playing next week so Healey is definitely in
You're saying drop Zelezniak, Capewell and perhaps Ford?
I doubt Coach will drop all 3 probably not any of them but I agree these 3 are most problematic and every team is going to know to go to that side and Zelezniak probably won't even touch anyone just in the middle of nowhere
I quite like the above team but if we're hitting the panic button I would also have TMM at 6 and CHT at 14
Not too sure what to suggest with Capewell he doesn't seem to be a centre hell would you swap him and Halasima

Ford suspended could be interesting.. everyone that moans about him can see what the team looks like without him

Right edge has to change obviously, feel for Capewell, he’s not a centre except in emergency…

While we talk about Ford a lot, why doesn't one of our back rowers, probably the biggest guy in our side, get as much of a mention?

Marata Niukore, most weeks, is a plodder. Yet never gets mentioned.

He made 6 runs for 37m last night. And made 39 tackles. Is he Alan Tongue? Except that Tongue, Lucky etc used to play in the middle and make 50+ and do all the dirty work, while Marata just makes the tackles he's required to.

I can't think of a guy in the NRL who plays below his weight more, apart from maybe David Fifita who isn't in the NRL right now

He's had the occasional decent week but is never in the votes, hardly dents the line, regularly goes missing.

If I was Webby I'd be playing him at prop for shorter stints and say if you can't play there and produce impact, you're a NSW Cup player

Apparently Ali didn't finish the game in Cup again, so possibly another injury. Really injury prone. So probably another week of Capewell in the centres, unless Webby decides to hand someone a debut (can't see MGT getting another game).

And @Penrose Warrior, definitely agree re Niukore. It was 150th last night, so he should've been up for it, but certainly didn't come looking for offensive work. I'd also have him in the middle, and tell him he needs to take at least one hitup a set. Dunno if he could do that without getting hurt though, lol. Maybe if Ford does get suspended that's where Niukore will go this week

I called it out a couple of weeks ago when Niukore made one run in the opening 20 minutes. The most reaction was a lukewarm "meh", something about how Webby uses him, and then it was back to the endless Ford debates.

Niukore makes a lot of mistakes too and is every bit a walking penalty and sin bin, while doing far less work.

How is Niukore supposed to make more runs? We have an extremely rigid strategy which involves 3 runs (sometimes 4) by RTS, CNK, and DWZ, followed by 2 runs by a designated middle - JFH, Ford, Clark, Vaimauga, TSS.

Niukore, Halasima, Laban only get the ball if we go a couple of passes wide of the ruck, otherwise it’s simply not in the game plan for them to touch the ball.

Having said all that I agree that Niukore has been ordinary for the last 2 seasons. Point is he simply isn’t going to touch the ball more than say 10 times a game no matter how up for it he is.

Yeah I did watch his play the ball speed, it's not great.

72 minutes is the wrong way to use him. Just because he's capable, doesn't mean he should

Just ftr this was from a screenshot a mate sent me, I don’t go for looking for anti-Ford stats and nor did I just make it up 😂 just think it’s interesting cos at the same time I acknowledge his metres per hit up and post contact metres tend to look decent. I still reckon rugby league stats don’t tell you a whole lot
