Pompey is back from suspension, so RTS back to the wing and Pompey in at centre.

With AKP, the guy is much smaller than I remember, and got basically rag-dolled by Faeamani every time he had it. His yardage carries aren't much chop, either. Good finisher, no doubt.

TT back at FB.
Hes just better. CNK is past his use by date.
Webby will put Pompey back in team. For what reason i have no clue.
AKP is elite finisher. Roger showed he has lost his speed. I dont believe he would have scored either try.
Also, AKP did make a searing break in his own 20 off his sheer elusiveness and speed. Dallin just bashed it up and had no line breaks. I think PW is being overly harsh.
I hate that Capewell is a mainstay in the team halting Labans progression. He is just slow and old.

Fair enough, if I'm wrong about AKP I'm very happy to be.

All I see is that when Dallin wasn't finishing tries in 25, he had a lot less to his game. And to be fair, he's a really good yardage carrier guy. I thought he was tremendous yesterday with the energy he brought. He's not a linebreak winger, not now he's over 30.

I just see AKP as one-dimensional. If we can unlock space for him, then wonderful - he's a top tier finisher. But he was getting bumped yesterday on D and the knock on him has always been that he's great on one side of the ball and not the other. Is he decent in the air? I know wingers' jobs are to score tries, but the modern winger wants to do more than that. I still think RTS x Pompey is better than AKP x RTS on that side.

Capewell I thought was pretty good yesterday and no doubt he brings experience...but yeah, Laban has an incredibly mature head on his shoulders and all-round skills, so in an ideal world it'd be his spot. But we all know that isn't the way Webby is going to go. Capewell defended really well, which is sometimes unlike him.

I loved that Niukore didn't front yesterday, would have been easy for Webby to go him over Laban.

He mentioned in the post game interview that he has been focusing more on D than A this year as he is aware of the knocks. So at least he is owning it. 2 of the tries down his side were from a sublime pass in the tackle and then an arsy as f**k tap on when titans were playing jungle ball at the end.
And under the high ball, i was hoping it was him under the ball instead of CNK as he looked way better. The one knock on he had from a catch you could make a case the titans player knocked it into him in the air but ref missed it.

I really hope Webby doesn’t change the team. The back line looks so much faster with RTS at centre and Roger is bringing a lot of energy and talk there. AKP has genuine pace and his D has looked ok so far.

I am worried CHT is injured as he had a head knock when scoring and was sitting on the bench for the last few minutes

TT > CNK but that won't happen so hopefully CNK finds his best form again.
Niukore's days feel like they're done here.

Pompey even at his best doesn't convince me he walks into this team.
Both wings/centres seem to be really clicking.

Yea hoping no changes too.

Some late defensive lapses, but given that started at 22 zip possibly more mental than structural. And tbh, coming down off last week's high, I thought the team handled the mental side pretty well in the end, especially compared to the Dogs.

Yeah and Webby rested a few players with 10 to go including CHT which may have thrown the defence out a bit

There isn't much question about the team in that there shouldn't be much change. The only big question is Pompey coming back in. If I were picking team, I'd probably not be picking Pompey. But you can bet a lot on Adam coming in and RTS to wing.
