could John Kirwan and Andy Capp make the side?
Mark Carter?

Kirwan was pretty good for us. He scored tries, made breaks, made his tackles. He was a much better All Black, of course, but they had him in his prime. By 1991 he was in decline, at aged 26!

Yes Mark Carter I was trying to remember his name. He was so plod and I don't reckon Kirwan was good at all, he frequently didn't play and I always pictured it was him in the mascots costume

Andy Capp is all time 🤣 If that's a purposeful faux pas, I love it...if not, Andy Capp is the British comic strip guy who from memory is always in trouble with his mrs. Andy Platt is the vastly overrated Pommie guy we signed on overs who also negotiated to bring his dogs over in his contract, stayed for a year (?) was massively underwhelming then f**ked off

Plodders I remember:

Corey Lawrie, the gold standard. A Bartercard battler who even his team mates took the piss out of. Jono Wright, massive plodder. As was Bill Tupou. Sam Lousi, slowest leg speed of any NRL player ever, then went on to be a decent union player which says it all. Jeremy Latimore was a plodder.
