what about our wenty side, they beat a pretty good windsor side whos front row consisted of woolnough, worth, rodney and f. puletua. so there must be some tallant there plus there 2nd on the table. so why dont some of these guys get a in first grade?

As the Title asks "Where in trouble"...surely it was meant to be a tongue in cheek "We are in trouble"

Where? I ask are we in trouble. Burt is the leading point scorer in the competition. People want to CRUCIFY him..
Eric Grothe J was the most crucified player in the Club..Now people want to Roll back the stone RESURRECT HIM.
Will Kris Keating get the job done? The cry has been out for him to be picked. Now he has ..will it be a godsend?
The cries of sign Jarryd and Krisnan early in the year filled pages and pages of forum posts. They were. Now people want Hayne dropped and replaced with EGJ.
Weller, Oake and Cordoba were once the darlings of the forum. In the space of just a couple of games they have lost their glow...
It's got me f**ked. Talk about a bunch of fickle fans with hearts of frog sh*t. Funny thing is the team is not that far off the pace, competition points wise..

If we are to have any chance of beating Manly the team should be

Burt
Reddy
Inu
Hayne
Grothe
Keating
Wagon
Hindmarsh
Robinson
Cayless
Riddell
Moi Moi

Cordoba
Keating
Hauraki
Nobody else stands out

It's up to the coach to motivate them so that they play to their ability. Players like Oake & Tautai do not have the ability so any amount of coaching is not going to help.

There is nobody in the lower grades who is a better player that's the problem. In particular the u/20 side where palyers like Robinson, Lewis & Baumann, Mitchell & Baumann have been let's say dissapointing.

KEATING CALLED IN FOR MATEO
4.36pm, Tuesday 15 July 2008

Toyota Cup standout Kris Keating will make his National Rugby League starting debut on Friday after being called into the Pirtek Parramatta Eels side to play Manly at Brookvale Oval.
Keating has been named at five eighth in place of the injured Feleti Mateo.
Friday’s game will be Keating’s third at NRL level, coming after interchange appearances against Manly in round six and Penrith in round eight.
“Yes they’re big shoes to fill but Kris has been training with us all season and is very aware of what he needs to do,” Eels head coach Michael Hagan said.
“He brings great energy and enthusiasm to the football side which can only be a good thing in such a big match.”
Captain Nathan Cayless has also been named in the Eels starting side after showing good signs in his recovery from an infected leg.
Also making a comeback is Toyota Cup captain Tim Mannah, who has missed the past two months due to a fractured kneecap.
Cameron Speechley fills the gap left by Keating’s First Grade call up while regular hooker Anthony Mitchell has been moved to five eighth, with Marty Lewis shifting back to lock.
Luke Mottinelli comes into the starting side at hooker.

like everyone didn't see this happening

the only changes being those forced by injury

Hagan basically never drops players

the only player Hagan has dropped this year was Grothe and it took him to cost us 4 games before he was dumped.

Hagan is a softco*k always has been always will be

Tautai is not a winger and Burt is not a fullback, both have had ample opportunities to prove us wrong in those positions and they have failed!

Tautai isn't even a 1st grader

Best position for Hayne then is wing....if we are using the past as a guide. At the momen t his best position is dropped along with Burt.

The best kick returner in the club is currently playing centre.

yup, 100% correct

watch out Manly, we're coming to get you

this should also be KK's big chance to impress Manly before they sign him up next year

So next time when Hages says to his team "Perform or Ill drop you" it will have the same impact as all the other times he has said it. SFA

I know it's really stupid to do so, but I fancy our chances against Manly. Mateo won't be there for the boys to rely on and I reckon it could force them into doing something. Keating will be out to impress for next season and I'd like to believe they're all a bit embarrassed about their form and there's no better way to show you've turned the corner than beating these scumbags.

Can't wait, bring it on.

It is his best F***** position for crying out loud.

It is where we will see him succeed. Haynsey on the wing and burty at fullback and they are both below their best, switch them see how it goes, it can't get any worse than it is at the moment

Don't worry, most can see he's our best option at FB, but nah he's a sook:roll:

Burt lived off Tims kicking game last year, this year he has been shown up.

Parramatta are paying Hayne god knows how much just to play wing, when we all saw the natural ability he showed from the back last year, it's a f**king travesity that our best attacking player is playing wing with very little chances to get involved.

I bet anyother coach who coaches us would put Hayne straight at FB no questions asked, Burt however is a senior member, and like Cayless and Hindy is immune to being dropped, or open to critisism.

The only time last year were we developed reasonable consistency was when Hayne was at FB. When Hayne went to Fullback we transformd as a side and went inches of a GF appearence, coincidence?

I never saw Parramatta happier and more flamboyant until Hayne was move to FB, people can go 'but but we love our Burty' 'he's a top bloke' blah blah, i'd rather the sook 'with the magical feet' then some bloke who at 27 has never looked comfortable in first grade apart from patches aginst medicore sides and scoring of the boot of Tim Smith.

Parra Pete,
do you even get disappointed with our performances? I think you are one of these blokes like Parra Jesus who just likes to have a beer at the game and would like to see Stu Galbraith as our leader - but otherwise does not like to have an opinion.
I am O.K with these types of fans, I've just never understood why you visit forums.

Fans like he and HJ are the reason why we haven't won a comp in 22 years.

I would love just once PP too create a thread blasting the club and players, and actually mean it:lol: atm he's no diferent to Hagan:crazy:
