If we can stay within 12 at HT we've got a shot in this match.
Good call, Barry.

Ha. Always funny reading this thread after the result. Playing in Newie, into a howling gale and after 20 minutes most of you thought we should have been 20 in front or something.

There was nothing wrong with the effort, just some poor execution in attack and decision making in defence.
In my opinion i don't agree with this.Sounds like you have an ordinary opinion
agreed.
my gutless comment was more a reaction to takarangi's effort in the first try. yeah fine you were beaten but don't give up. Everyone can see old man Houston running up inside of Uate but Taka doesn't bother making an effort to get inbetween uate and Houston. Its poor form. Sandow does the exact same thing with Mcmanus' try in the second half.
In both of these situations these players had opportunities to position themselves to help other defending players but didn't. I reckon Arthur will highlight both of these efforts and make backing up in defence a talking point for the week.

I thought mine was encouraging to the team.... "Stay strong, stay united and stay blue and gold."
Just don't read the other crap that I wrote under pressure.
I think it's a good call to tell Barry he made a good call.
Suity
I've not had a dream about the Eels beating the Knights today but I'm daydreaming big-time about them winning 32 to 24 today.
Shame you don't do it with women (or men - not sure which way you swing - maybe both ways).Lucky I held back then
Was close. If Sandow converted the last try I would have at least gotten the margin right.
If Sandow converted the last try we would be an extra place up the ladder too.
They showed again there is limited mental ability when after the first half we kicked off into the wind and got the ball back but didn't come up with a better plan to stop Newcastle doing it and they did it more than once.
Actually, Taka was screaming and pointing to Folau to take Uate and Taka was looking over his shoulder at Houston, indicating he'd take Houston - then the next minute, he totally ignores Houston and chases Uate.
Had he stayed on Houston, they might not have scored.
