Vuna was pretty good today, but honestly where does he fit in?

Karawana can cover the backs, halves and forwards!

I actually thought he was quite good today.

Our depth is quite good this year, not full of top notch players but all around similar talents which has them competing, great for us.
Vuna is better then jimmy.
as solid as he is...he has no spark.
solidness will come with expierience.
spark wont.

jimmy is the perfect reserve grade winger, if uate or vuna gets injured you no he wont let you down. but hes never going to do anything amazing

Yeah because being consistently good and making the right decisions is a bad thing to want in an inexperienced backline.

Surely you are joking

McManus is similar to Folau IMO.

What so different about them?

Folau is probably the best player under the high ball. McManus is very good in that area also.

McManus make really good dummy half runs, same as Folau.

Honestly Folau doesnt offer breaks on his own or set up his wingers all that often..

McManus' reliablity under the high ball and his strong kick returns and play from dummy half is excellent.

And now, I've seen it all - there was the biased Knights cherry on top.
Look, I didnt honestly mean he is like Folau.

But they have similar games. Honestly Folau does nothing really but dummy half runs and collect the high balls.

lol i can see where your coming from mate...but seriously look at the tackle breaks, try assists, line break assists and trys.

jimmys stats would no doubt be better then vunas.
but i just prefer to watch vuna over jimmy.
i also believe with experience, vuna will be the better of the two (lol i would already says hes better) but i understand where your coming from.

lol oh please mate, can someone help me out lol,
did you not see his try v new zealand where he ran over the top of like 3 players two were props. lol and as ive already said i dont blame jimmy for his little trys from kicks, as jimmy never gets the opportunites.

I like Vuna running the ball, that's about it.

The rest of his game is like watching an error machine under the high ball, and the fact he's now lost his pace he is even more useless.

One thing that I noticed about Vuna though, he was on the bench in our last game and MacDougall scored a try and he was happy as anything. Youd usually find players upset about being dropped but he was really happy, gotta love his attitude.

But for now what McManus offers, as I said it's invaluable. All teams need a guy who can defend the high ball and be able to make strong runs to get us on the front foot.

Lol i'm not denying Folau is good and will become better.

But for now their games are quite similar, both good under the high ball and make strong runs, that's about it.

Although Folau is the best under the high ball i've ever seen and he makes stronger runs because of his size.

jimmy is good, can i just please throw this out there though, this isnt directed at you jono but i know people are going to start claimimng it soon.
yes, vuna has lost pace.....but he is stil 12 x faster then jimmy.
correct me if im wrong but i believe the times at the start of the season were released and vuna is .2 secs in front of mullen for a time of 11.4...thats still f**king quick.

Lol I would doubt if he is quicker than McManus now

I like what I saw from Vuna at center, allows him to make his strong runs and then offload to his winger which he's been able to do a couple times this year.

Until he is able to clean up kicks I like Uate and McManus as my wingers.

And he was on the field when Uate scored his second try, and raced across to congratulate him more effusively than anyone.
