I am picking an upset win here with a MoM performance by Ford

We absolutely need Boyd's kicking game. We know Cleary has a boot on him, we need to return serve, with interest.

So 4 or 5 HIAs for Panthers top stars during the game?

Errors free penalty free 80mins.

A bunker that actually sees the same game everyone is watching?

Or has the 4 win from 11 run into the finals been a rouse luring teams into a false sense of security?

One thing's certain, the five-in-a-row grand-finalists and four-in-a-row premiers don't need the rub of the green from the match officials.

I'll never stop being a forever optimistic Wahs fan.

We know if we cut our silly errors down we can get in the grind with just about anybody, Dogs aside nobody has thumped us recently and we're mostly our own worst enemies.

Penrith '25 aren't quite as good as the 4-peat Panthers, Edwards in particular is quite out of form.
They're coming to our back yard, yes our home record is a mess but it's better than going to the Blue Mountains.

It feels like a date with destiny similar to the Storm final in 2008 or even that famous Magic Round win. I'm hoping with no more ladder talk and "what if this or that" it frees our minds up and we forget everything else and just play footy. Yes we have to get most things spot on, but an upset is not out of question for me.

I wouldn't mess with the side now, too late for anything new.
The message has to be, get it done because you're it.

Yep, absolutely. This is our one shot, at home, to prove all the naysayers wrong.
I was thinking about this today. Next weekend is the perfect scenario for us. No one thinks we'll win the competition, so why not go up against the big time Penrith brigade in week one? Let's see if we can pull off an upset for the ages, rather than limp out against a lesser team.

Absolutely mate. And by Saturday, we'll know who we'd play. A trip to Melbourne, holy f**k, if that is what is happening on Saturday afternoon, you will find me in a puddle of my own...um....tears, I guess.

You're telling me, mate! We love it. And I'm getting fired up this week like no other time since grand final week in 2011.

It really feels that way, and why not?

Prefer Capewell in the centres- stopping our right side leaking like a sieve has to be top priority. Let Leka do what he’s best at and be a strike weapon on the edges and in the air.

Ford on after TSS’s opening stint- TSS seems to be settling into that starting role and it’ll stop Ford from being used for excessive minutes.
