Nah he's not as good as other fullbacks that we have. His best game at fullback came off the back of playing 6. He started at fullback against the Storm and how was he then?

A weak argument based off a single game.

He started in the halves 5 times last year - how was he then? I think you'll find he had 1 good game, and 4 not just bad... but terrible games (sharks dragons panthers tigers... not exactly the cream of the crop from last year either).

His best game at fullback actually came last year, when he did indeed start (and play the whole 80) at fullback - against the Bulldogs again. He also played arguably better in round 14 against the Roosters and round 6 against the Tigers.

Likewise regarding the 'not as good as other fullbacks' stuff - I can only assume you mean Fusitua (since RTS - obviously better - is unavailable). Here again you're basing this on a single game's worth of evidence.

Beyond all of that, to say Lolohea played well at fullback because he started a game in a different position is just ludicrous. There isn't any causal factor...

I wouldn't mind seeing Fus at 1 again and Tui at 6 next week, since it could well be better than the current option. But to assert with any certainty the claims you're making minus evidence actually weighted in that direction... and then to cherry pick your observations...

Lol I honestly didn't read the other crap because it's crap. However this last paragraph is good to see. Just like Iafeta is saying I totally agree. We will see effective use of Tui.

Tui is doing the same thing he did last year when he was forced to cover for the pom..

and that is, every game he plays. he gets better in that new position.

I think he would end up a fairly good fullback if he had to stay there..

wtf did the club sign Henare Wells for ?

Yep there's merit to this. I think it would be great to figure out exactly what we want to do with Lolohea, bite the bullet and put him there

1. Fusitua (Makes to much sense Cappy wont do it)
2. Wright (Awful, awful awful - Spoon winger)
3. Ayshford (Read highly lucky to be playing NRL again - Spoon centre)
4. Kata/Allwood (If Kata is out then it reads - Spoon centre)
5. Vatuvei (Not up to it at NRL level, lets more trys in that scores, drops the ball to much, prop on the wing - Spoon Winger)
6. Lolohea (Makes to much sense Cappy wont do it)
7. Johnson (Not an NRL half - Spoon Half)
8. Lillyman (Makes effort - looks like Tarzan plays like Jane - Reserve grade prop)
9. Tevaga (nothing but praise for his effort but tragic we can sign Luke and he drops his performance like this)
10. Matulino (Playing like a reserve grader - Looks like Tarzan plays like Muppet)
11. Thompson (We are all impressed when he turned up looking like a first grader - reality is he is a reserve grade player - Spoon 2nd rower)
12. Hoffman (Professional, trys his heart out, much like mannering with work load but runs far harder at the line)
13. Mannering (Wont fault his commitment, will fault his jogging to the line and hand braking it hard for the last few seasons, embarrassing to think warriors fans think he is great, even more embarassing to know they think he is great :( - Spoon 2nd rower)

14. Luke - (awful, disgusting, disapointing - taking the absolute piss)
15. Vete - (in one week, out the next, starting next week, dropped to bench next week, dropped completely next, starting next week, dropped again, rinse and repeat)
16. Lisone - (Read Vete)
17. Sipley - (THE FUTURE - best warriors prop since Jerry Seuseu emerged)

Palavi, Gavet, Gubb, Leuluai out...and potentially Allwood

I adjusted your team for you to express the message you thought.

Not expecting Kata to play. I can't see Hurrell bring picked but think he should. Don't think Ken Malamo is a chance either.

We need to start running with a larger pack and put the squeeze on the opposition for a change. Thompson or Mannering can cover at centre if we're desperate, injury wise. Otherwise our backs play the full 80minutes and our forwards start earning their keep.

Really good analysis with solid justifications. Do you mind filling the blanks so I can further my understanding of Rugby League? We Warriors fans have a lot to learn about the definition of player quality.

IL would just chuck NSW cup players in and we'd get thrashed every week like the Knights.

Oh I know. I just want him to (for once) see it all the way through and actually put down a Lion Squad on paper.

Ironically the very guys he's dumping are the ones holding our ship together, but whatever.

canberra got sum big boppers in their forwrads
more than likely cappy.will go with 4 forwards on the bench to match the cos he has no game plan to tire them out with ruck speed and footwork

I suppose your right, we should reward the guys losing each week with honor by renaming them again. Leave the guys who are hungry to prove themselves to go to other clubs like Hiku, SST, RFM, FPN, Papaili. F@ck I hate the warriors culture.

Saw Paul Rauhihi shopping at the supermarket yesterday. Seen him a few times, just another player the Warriors said no to and now come back to live here after killing it in the NRL.

Some of you fans think just like Dean Bell did.

They are not holding the ship together at all, where do you get that from. Are we at the stage as an NRL club that we select players because they hold a ship together. NRL should be simple, you either can play at this level and excute your roles requirements or you play reserve grade or elsewhere. Id think that is pretty simple.

Jim Doyle must be answerable soon about this shambles.

Thats the horrifying thing, I could only watch with admiration the Bulldogs vs Tigers of the structures, lines and set plays they ran on attack. I could only dream that the warrior could do anything close that assembles set plays.

Our only set play I see us doing every game is pass to Jacob Lillyman in opposition 20 on tackle 5.

Watching the games. Most of the guys you named in your "spoon team" are holding our defence together.

But again, you don't agree, so be it.

Name your team, I'm really curious to see that.

Great team meth - when are we playing Newcastle again?

Round 14

So give those guys a run for a few rounds and they'll be up for the big cripple fight- and we'll be creaming it in the Intrust

They field this team against the Knights and they lose, Cappy will cop a whole new level of crap to the point where it will destroy his coaching career. Nice team but I don't think Cappy will ever field that side.
