If none of those guys can defend then none of them should be playing NRL - simple. The coach and board should be fired if we select players for first grade who cant tackle. Thats ridiculous when its your profession. So I dont buy into that super tackler bullshit.

Not sure if you have been watching but Matulino is not Matulino anymore, he isnt hacking prop, he has always been a back rower so lets run him wider and allow him to return back to dynamic best. Ivan screwed him by converting him to prop.

Lino has a very good kicking game, not as long as johnsons but far more accurate. He is quite capable player who hasn't been given a fair shot.

I dont hate Luke, im disgusted by how he let him self go. More than likely due to outside factors. Quickest way to get Luke back into the saddle is to force him to play 80mins week in, week out - no interchanging for Luke, and he will come right.

With all respect and I mean no offence (feel free to insult me if you like, I'm a man so it won't hurt my feelings lol) but it seems like your tunnel visioned when selecting your team. You got good players there but..I just don't think you're arrangement is good.

Makes big metres every game? 1 in 3? 1 in 5? once in a season.

Like a senior warriors told me personally, Lillyman is the strongest in the gym but not on the field.

Gavet is most definitely not rubbish, just needs to be developed further and believed in. He is an athlete and capable of much better.

I'll go with most weeks until you prove otherwise - last few games he's had well over 100M and been very strong...

Who's this 'senior' Warrior, clearly they are to be respected - what at a bar over a Red Bull?

Pretty much every game, actually.

If your strange argument is that Lillyman has a limited game where he only makes metres, then metres is the only thing you can't pick at.

See, now you're overplaying the charade
Have you checked the forum regarding the Raiders last game? It's a bit to look through and find but you'll see the comments on there regarding the Raiders lack of go forward other than Vaughn and Papaliis hit ups.

Not saying I'm right and the Warriors pack will dominate but I'm just trying to explain how I came to my conclusion based on both teams current performances. Basically if you bring up a subject with me I'll do my best to make you understand where I'm coming from.

Nah I was joking but seriously that's one way to end an argument...Lion, you are the MAN!

Totally unlike reaching for false authority, right? Well, this is awkward.

Lion; that team is nuts. Seriously. I don't even. And Gavet's managed 2 tackle breaks, 0 linebreaks, 0 tries, 0 assists and 0 offloads in 220 minutes so far. Game breaker indeed. Lilly smashes out more metres too - on both a per game and per minute basis. By quite a bit, too. And he doesn't have Gavet's ridiculously high error/penalty rate.

I really do sympathize with the temptation to stack your pack with crazy impact - but every good pack has a stable cornerstone (Tolman, Glasby, Tyrell, Moa, Mannah, Scott etc). And it helps if you're actually picking dynamic players then... Gavet isn't quite that (although he does carry the error/pen rate). Someone who is actually dynamic, for reference, would be Asofa-Solomona, or Taupau, or Tagataese, or Taumalolo, or Vaivai, or Evans, or Fifita... hell, even Vete and Lisone produce more tackle breaks and offloads than Gavet.

Have to agree with you here, you mention some really good go forward here.
