Looks like Manu and Locke have come through ok, so...

The team that I would pick...
1- Locke/Fisiiahi
2- Tupou
3- Henry (one of the best on the park on the weekend, I thought. Can't drop him off the back of a performance like that)
4- Inu (let's be honest- this will be Ropati)
5- Vatuvei
6- Maloney
7- Johnson
8- Lousi
9- Friend
10- Packer
11- Brown
12- Mannering
13- Taylor

Res- Rapira/Ta'ai, Matulino, Hurrell, Mateo (awesome bench)

After seeing Inu play for the Vulcans, I think he is where he belongs until we have a majorly out of form or injured centre / wing.

1- Locke
2- Tupou
3- Henry
4- Ropati (he was good)
5- Vatuvei
6- Maloney
7- Johnson
8- Lousi
9- Friend
10- Matulino
11- Brown
12- Mannering
13- Taylor

Rapira/Ta'ai (tough here as Ta'ai was much better on Saturday)
Package
Hurrell
Mateo

1- Locke
2- Fisiiahi (might as well give him a run)
3- Toupou
4- Inu
5- Vatuvei
6- Maloney
7- Johnson
8- Lousi
9- Friend
10- Packer
11- Brown
12- Mannering
13- Taylor

Bench - Rapira, Matulino, Hurrell, Mateo

Random points
- Benry not dropped, only surplus to requirements.
- Would like to see Mara/Godinet given a run off the bench for potential Friend backup.
- Don't want to see JRo (average at best last week) or Ta'ai anywhere near this 13 again.

We'll have to drop Henry to achieve that!

Why? He's playing at centre.

The reality is that Ta'ai will now need to go back to the NSW cup, play second row and win a spot in the team ahead of Taylor, Brown or Mateo.

Just out of interest, here are Jro's stats for the weekend:
Minutes 80
Runs 14
Metres 136 (second only to Vatuvei)
Try Assists (counted as 0 but he actually passed to Taylor for his try)
Tackle Breaks 3
Tackles 20
One on one 7 (by far the most in the team)
Missed 1
Line Breaks 1
Errors 1
Penalties 2

...take out the penalties, one of which was dodgy as, and this is a damn fine centre's game. Considering he is still on his way back from a season ending injury, what else could you ask for? Jeez.

...to give Hurrell the fulltime centre spot, freeing up a bench place!

hmmm

I am somewhat ok with Hurrell coming off the bench. I actually wonder if he is ready for 80 minutes of first grade football right now.

Meh, I saw Inu play for the Vulcans. He wasn't exactly putting his hand up, to get back into 1st grade, was he.

I would laugh my arse off, if Henry started outshining JBro. How did Henry's stat match up?

ben henry:

Minutes 80
Runs 9
Metres 58
Try Assists 0
Tackle Breaks 0
Tackles 20
One on one 3
Missed 0
Line Breaks 0
Errors 0
Penalties 0

...so yeah, "very safe" would be the nicest description for Henry

If you were the Warriors, which side would you run most of your attacking play down?

If you were the Titans, which side would you run most of your attacking play down?

Fair call :)
But that isn't Ropati's fault ya know.

So, how would you score that match if it counted, Hitman? Going off your points table from the other thread (there wasn't a stat for offloads) I have Henry winning the round @ 264, with JBro scoring 262. Is that what you get?
