Your spot bj regarding kerr.

Kerr is an organising half back.We looked like a real
team when his been there and have a deep backline.

Wether or not we play better(even though i think we do)
we are far more entertaining

Bloody hell Sheens. Wilson is not a 5/8. For f*** sake, it's not rocket science figuring that out.

remember he was man of the match vs the warriors

i know its not saying much, but if the forwards get good go forward, and prince plays like he did against parramatta,

i think wilson can do a good job esp. as a tackle machine against fittler

RHINO will miss out like he always does .
I just cannot understand what the coach sees in John Wilson in the number 6

Perhaps loyalty after Wilson broke the club try scoring record?

But in all seriousness, Wilson stagnates our attack. I am not understanding Sheens' bizzare persistence with him. He lacks the ball skills and spark that a natural pivot should possess. He has great ultity value, but similar to Fitz a 5/8th he ain't...

I'm remaining hopeful that word has got back to Sheens about Fulton carving up at 5/8th, and that he will slot him in there for majority of the game. Perhaps as Famous1 stated, use Wilson for the first 15-20 mins, and ease him into the role after the pressure and intensity settles down a little...

Bring Plummy in onto the bench. Line him up against Finch and let him snap him in defense all night long
I really can't agree with Wilson at 5/8. I'd like to see Farah at half, Prince at 5/8 probably.

Wilson has to go and join Graham in the Balmain side,he has nothing in attack and his defence this year is awful.

prince is the main point of our attack and wilson is much better in defense.... not saying he cant attack

its not a question of whether wilson is a quality five-eighth .. its a question on what are the alternatives..... and fulton is too risky too try there atm....

I think the Kerr/Prince combination is JUST as obvious as the Marshall/Prince one...it took Sheens WEEKS to figure that one out, and when he finally put Marshall where he belonged we started winning all those games in a row remember? We had the opposition defence guessing, which is what Kerr can do! I think the sooner he brings Kerr into the halves the sooner we'll start winning...hopefully we haven't lost too much confidence by then :?

Maybe Kerr will have to prove himself for the THIRD time when Prince is out come State of Origin #3!

when i look at both teams their bench scares the shit out of me.morley off the bench means the roosters will be relentless all match.
i think between 30-40min mark the floodgates could open if our bench players don't rise to the occasion.
this is friday night football folks, and nerves could play a part so the old heads of buckets and satts are a welcome return.

the last 2 years we have done well out of dummy half and it is this area we can gain an advantage, but our props must rise to the occasion if this is to be an entertaining game for us.surely payten can rise up to the roosters and hopefully smash his room mate crocker.

i really hope wilson can do what he did to fittler last year,he frustrated the hell out of him and was his best game last year in my eyes.
he took the game to fittler instead of fittler bringing it to him and will take a game like that again to have a hope in being there with a chance with 5 to go.

and i would love it if prince could find the sideline with some kicks even if we let them get the scrum 30 out from their line.much better than mini killing us again.

good controlled footy is needed after last week, even if we lose we must at least take steps forward again.

the roosters have had a pretty comfortable 5 or 6 weeks along with 2 byes,so maybe a good hard physical game might put them under a little pressure and see a more disjointed game from the roosters.

either way,i hope there is a huge crowd at cambo friday night.
the tigers are going to need you all there going nuts.

In regards to a couple of earlier replies to this posting, i noticed it was mentioned that farah is a hooker not a halfback, ok, so what was gower
originally and although he's not as explosive as some of the other top halfbacks, he still does the job better than anyone else at penrith, did anyone not notice the panthers decline in form during his absence.

As for fulton, ok so he's a bit on the light side and would no doubt be targeted by the brutal roosters defence, but should the forwards hold their own, he would no doubt provide us with zip and creativity, when was the last time anyone mentioned those 2 words in the same sentence as John Wilson.

IM happy with the team , its was fairly obvious in Tim's comments on sunday there'd be little change to the side except for the return of satts and buckets which has happened. I'll stick by Sheens with his decision of the 5/8, i think he's a little more qualified than any of us, lets hop eJOhn has a better game friday night, im confident he can.

Hi tigerpete, i don't think anyone is here to argue Mr Sheens' qualifications,
that's why we are on this forum and he's coaching a first grade side and has won premierships previously.

What i'm saying is, he has a lot more faith in him regarding this position than i ever would, i just hope for his sake that wilson repays the debt.

I was being sarcastic.

If we can't score tries we can't win

We have had 2 shut outs this year. What other team has done that this year?

I like alot of others want kerr,Even though i want him at half.
I'd be happy if he was at 5/8 with prince.

What has most experts said about the tigers?
We struggle to score points. We need more options.Other teams
know were the balls going due to few options.

IMHO we are still the WORST ATTACTING TEAM in the comp regardless
of what the stats say.

I don't know how many of you were at Kogarah or watched the game on tv last sunday but the reason saints got a roll on and dominated field possession was because of our kicking game. Everytime Prince kicked the ball it would be luck to reach the Saints 30 which meant that on tackle 2 or 3 saints were well over halfway attacking at our end. This leads me to my next concern. Roosters will know Prince is our only kicker and players like Ricketson and Crocker will be pressuring him all night. I haven't seen much of a kicking game from Wilson so I think Kerr would have been a smarter selection based on kicking ability (which is an area that we really do have to work on) so i'm assuming Hodgson will take on some of the kicking responsibilty. We really need to dominate field position against the roosters and that will only happen through a good kicking game and completion rate. I just hope Princey has had his weetbix and kicks the hell out of the ball. I think we are a good show and i'll say Tiges by 1-12

Saints got on a roll becoz we didnt get a dominant tackle on them at all. Our defence was going up in twos and threes, not in a line, one tackler on a player allows quick play the balls.
They were on a roll almost from the start, and when you get a roll on in attack, its generally on the back of good defence, which is what Saints had.
Our forwards couldnt make any headway on em, Payten had a mega bludge, therefore when it was time for prince to kick , more often than not it was in our own half. he hasnt got a big boot by any means, therefore field position is crucial for his kicks to be any value....no guarantee though ;-)
Our pack was outmuscled, dominated, it all starts from there.

Last time i checked farah was a hooker. And prince was the queensland 1/2
It wouldn't hurt you to double check your facts.
Farah has played quite a considerable number of games at half in PL and his junior career. Prince can play 5/8 and i think the role would be better suited to him.

Well look as if said im now quite open to a kerr/prince combo in the halves

it just doesnt look like sheens will pick them both together in the distant future.......
