lol Bluey, you gutless fossil. The latest I heard from him is apparently maybe the lads have been trained too hard..?!!!!
Wouldn't surprise me. I know Bennett has a period of two or three weeks about 3/4 of the way through the season where he purposely overtrains his team, and for those games those boys always look like they're struggling. If Bluey is overtraining the team--on purpose--one wonders why he's doing so so early in the season.

As to the team selection: :lol::lol::lol::lol:

ETA: Inu didn't even make the bench this week. No 18th man duties for him!

McClennan agreed that his side appeared fatigued yesterday, something he attributed to a propensity to push too hard in a desire to turn around their season.
"That first 10 minutes [against Canberra] we were in there and we were competing, but we flattened out very quickly. The concern there is that, in hindsight, we might have over-trained the boys and flattened them a little bit.
"We're all trying very, very hard and there's a tendency to over-train. The boys just got a bit flat as the game went on.''

Poor bugger. Wasn't even given a chance.

So not on purpose then. Maybe training isn't something they do in ESL?

Same centres again. Unbelievable.

We've all heard that Inu has bad attitude and is a lazy trainer, but at some point, when you're in the shit, you have to give him a shot right? How long will this go on before Bluey gets a clue.

I thought you were taking the piss. The fact you werent has me deeply worried.

The season has just started and already they're suffering from burn out?

Inu excluded because he undertrains (allegedly). We perform badly because we overtrain (allegedly).

Go figure.

bluey... bluey... bluey...
you silly old fool.

How can Inu even prove himself when he has been selected as 18th man 2 - 3 times denying him the chance of even playing vulcans.

Bluey sounds a bit amateurish to be honest. You do all the hard training in the pre-season, between games it should be about recovery, ball skills, bit of speed work and team play drills. Need to keep the team relaxed and in recovery mode between games so they are fresh and ready to rip in on gameday.

Bluey you are killing this side, Inu being accused of undertraining and not had enough gametime, gets made 18th man, doesn't get a run even in the Vulcans, you are making us the laughing stock of the NRL. PS Thank God Locke is back.

I don't even rate Dave Taylor at all, but Souths would be stupid to not run him straight at the Johnson/Ropati channel, do that a couple of times and then you just have to use him as a decoy to draw both in with Inglis looping round the back. Try time galore.
