I read its a bit wet in Auckland this weekend, how's the team in the wet? I'm a little concerned that a wet track plus soft defence from last weekend is going to gift this game to St Merge

I'm always more confident of a Warriors win on a wet track in Auckland TBH, we train in the wet more than most of the Australian teams and I think you'll find the stats support my confidence.

I was listening to the Continuous Call Team here in Sydney tonight, and someone emailed in asking if the game will be played tomorrow given the severe weather warnings for Auckland. Is there any talk about the game being postponed or anything? Because with the rumoured wind speed for tomorrow there's no way they'll be able to play in it.

If the winds are anything like we had overnight it will not go ahead.
The teams would need ropes, crampons and a brick to play.

Weather seems pretty mild so far where I'm at. No worse that most other rainy games. I can't see it being postponed unless it gets WAY worse.

The weathers pretty mild right now with only 4 hours to go, you even say a pretty nice day compared to an average day in Wellington.

I see Carlos is starting for the Vulcans. Obviously that broken shnoz wasn't why he was dropped after Game 1.

Weather still pretty calm in Auckland at present. I'm not far from the ground n other than a strong wind, it's not currently raining.

He looks average too

Hasn't been the nicest day so far, but nothing extreme. Supposedly the storm is meant to peak around game time though.

I'm not really worried about the game being cancelled, but I'm worried about the Sky signal and the "atmospheric conditions" because a light drizzle is usually enough to take that out.

Hell sometimes a beautiful sunny day will cause problems with my dish.

Agree. Things are gonna get a bit worse yet. Just reason the 2000+ homes north of Auckland with no power and roads near the airport are flooded (south west of Eden Park).

Hurrell showed he is ready for 1st grade. He offers more than Ropati and Neilsen on attack - defence wasn't too bad either
