Slow down the Melbourne pack, in particular Cam Smith from dummy half, and it limits the time and space their backs have to move. A mobile pack will help that a lot. Easier said than done but they have struggled early against a few teams in recent weeks who have done that.

As for 19 and 20, Prems have the week off so they can name a few as cover and carry them down to Melbourne anyways.,

Re Cannings - About time SOMEONE got dropped after a bad TEAM performance. There is plenty of talent in the squad and there should be more competition for spots.

I think the team is a reaction to the fact that the Eels lost the battle of the Ruck (Read Wrestle) last week. I think Souths tried the same and failed cause they dropped so much ball.

These teams have nothing to lose when they play us and have exposed a potential weakness. Ref's don't blow penalties in big games thanks to Harrigan.

This part of the season isn't about getting the 2 points. We are probably going to finish in the top 6 and that is all that counts. There is little diff in finishing 3,4,5 or 6.

All of the coaches say this. Even brown last year said the season was mickey mouse compared to the finals.

I think Hagan is looking at fixing our problems in defence and the ruck.

What worries me about this game is a big injury.

I think that this team can beat the sorm and I think that if a player doesn't show up he should know that Paulo, Cannings, Weller and Lowrie will gladly step up for a place in the finals.
