I mean I know we have injuries but you can't miss 11 tackles in a game on your own and expect to be playing next week. If Kodi got dropped the week before, not sure how Taylor can be picked this week tbh

Yeah, I hear that. But Taylor offered more on attack than Nikorima has and that's what you want your half to do. You don't really expect your halfback to be amazing defensively- its a bonus where they are.

I expect my halfback to at put his body on the line. He was literally waving Fermor, Brimson and Kelly through!

That said - for this week i'd still go with Taylor & CHT.

If we can't beat the Tigers we are in for a hell of a long season. We have actually shown some promise in the 2 losses. The Tigers are woeful.

Tigers will be a good test actually. After the first two games I'm picking the wooden spoon to be a battle between Warriors and Tigers. Loser of this next game will be an early wooden spoon favourite. Will really show us where we are if we can't get up for a win.

If we lose to the Tigers i reckon Brown will be gone
and with following games against the
Cowboys
Roosters
Storm
Raiders
even if we win Brown needs to produce results

. Seems as though a couple of guys made at least the development list at the Warriors (Adam Cook, Jayden Corrigan) that hadn't been announced as far as I can see, based on their inclusion (and lack of Dolphins photos) in the Qcup lineup.
Pretty sure the coach said we don't develop players anymore? Not sure the last time we did?

sick before the game too
And apparently didn't tell anyone.
Not really thinking of the team if you are not 100% you should let it be known and a decision can be made if you play or not.
Left us down a player for 60 mins and was involved in the first try miss.

I’m gonna say this every week. Still think it’s a mistake not putting Aitken back to centre. We are in desperate need of experience on the edges and have plenty of backrowers.
Remember in the 2000s how we used to complain about the coaches constantly putting second rowers at centre? Now it seems we‘ve got the opposite issue. My only assumption with Aitkin is hes there so we can name an all forward bench and still have backline cover.

I want to agree with you and i have at times, but then i think Sironen could/can play centre in a pinch anyway, so im not sure thats it

Good point on Sironen. And given how rubbish our backline is that really negates keeping Aitken in the forwards

Media talk all week how poor Tigers are, couple of boys out playing pokies night before Newcastle loss, poor club structure, not up to NRL standards etc.

If that doesn't rev them up just before playing us!

It aint all bad. We finally have some big, gnarly props. Could you imagine our current side - our backline mainly - relying on Adam Blair as prop?
