Not sure about Stowers Smith fitness or CNK for that matter.

This for me too. CNK more versatile to have on the bench to cover many spots.

I’m actually a bit worried about playing these Titans next week. They are a bogey team for us and looking good today.

CNK can be bench cover for the backs as he is middling at multiple positions at this stage of his career. Not good enough to start the game anymore.
When TMM comes back, he should rightly take over as an upgrade on the bench. Not sure where Metcalf will be though. Not really a spot for him until we have an injury or suspension in the halves.

i think its great they put 50 on today. There will be no complacency seeping in during the week from Warriors thinking they will be pushovers.

Niukore is the only plodder we have right now.

Don't change a thing otherwise, AKP and Roger looked like it was working too. Met and CNK (and TMM, Berry eventually) should focus on hitting their top gear in NSW first. Barnett is the only one I'd say is a straight return.

I wouldn't shed much of a tear if Pompey's time is done.

Whatever happens going forward, I hope that CHT has proven, he is the 5/8 to take us forward. He has been a big factor in all 4 wins so far this season and dare I say, a factor in our losses.

In the debate between CNK and TT at fullback, we have two different players. CNK is a yardage guy and good defensive organiser. TT is more active, pace and creative. Whichever they go with, just change the game plan to adapt.

Exactly the same team as this week except Capewell in for injured TSS
I'd start Capewell and push Leka to the bench where he has more impact. Niukore the one to drop out, unless TSS is unavailable.

I'd also be tempted to bring back CNK at fb, based on Taine's earlier admission re: weakness at organising the defensive line.

I dont recall (?) too many defensive issues on the edges on Sat due to numbering, but dunno if that was us getting better or Melbourne being disorganised... happy to defer to anyone who was watching our numbering more closely than I was though.

Comparing TT to peak CNK - yes it's a pretty worthy debate and I'd back CNK.

CNK looks very far below his peak though, I'd want to see a drastic turnaround in the reggies before rushing CNK back because he could barely make a tackle against the Sharks.

Any news on Capewell or TSS? How long out for Barnett?

Gold Coast have an amazing record at Mt Smart is recent years. We will need to at our best to win this one

I wouldn’t call Niukore a plodder, I think he’s the opposite if anything. He brings genuine threat but tends to drift in and out of games a bit. I’d actually consider starting him instead of Leka then hooking him around the 20-30 min mark and bringing Leka on to terrorise the opposition. One luxury we have is all of our middles and benchies are capable of big minutes so we can spread the workload and use certain players for impact if we need to.

Webster will go with something uninspiring to replace Tanah with Hanson or CNK with CHT at 7.

Jett will be awesome.
