Don't just look at the stats- look at last week for instance. By Burts standards he was brilliant- yet would've been flat out breaking even with his errors from his good play. By the way, he has a big wrap on his speed- yet he isn't all that fast.

Yes OK, but he wasn't brilliant against the Sharsk either.

His attack was veyr good, but his defensive cock-ups were awful (although he did make a number of good tackles to save tries).

He is pretty quick though Although I think he's not as quick as he used to be.

But I cannot understand why people bag him so much. He's not brilliant but he's got talent.

I don't get why you guys are getting somewhat hyped about this game.

It could very well be the worst game of the season.

We're getting hyped because we play a team below us on the table - that doesn't happen often in 2004!

For 2005 I prefer (in bold):
1. McKinnon/Reddy
2. Burt/Anderson
3. Graham/O'Dwyer/B Smith
4. Tahu
5. Petersen/Grothe

Though will probably be any combination of the above? It'll all work itself out in the end...

Sorry bartman but while we have such crap such as Burt and Graham( who I think should be given a run at 5/8) then we will not be a Premiership force, They are not quality.

I'm concerned with Graham's form, but at his best he is a centre. That second centre spot is up for grabs (that's why it's not in bold) and anyone could fill it. But we don't have a true standout player to partner Tahu at this stage.

Burt on the wing is more positive than at centre or fullback, I don't think we have a better winger yet that would keep him out? But I agree with you, we need Burt (or someone else) to fire on the wing to have a competitive backline next year.
