If we get through to face Penrith, I want to see someone in our club making some noise in the lead up to the game about the fact that defensive teams struggle to put kick pressure on Cleary because Penrith deploy illegal blockers that are almost flat with the play the ball, every single time. The markers are blocked from putting on kick pressure every single time - it’s usually Yeo and Fisher Harris, stood a couple of meters to the side of the play the ball, illegally blocking access to Cleary.
I've been paying a bit of attention to this of late.
It seems to be most teams are employing this tactic now, but they're just better at it.
When did it become acceptable?
They're offside FFS.
Blow the pharqing penalty.
Oh, that's right, we can't slow the game down by blowing penalties all the time.
A quick game's a good game.
Just let it slide. Like the myriad other things they ignore.
