Don’t want to agree with your second paragraph. I’m saying that, I was not at all disappointed that I am double booked on Saturday night and having to miss the game.
They are going to have to play the game of their lives to get through Id say.
The Souths tidal wave of love is all to be seen.
Up Up boysb
Wonder if Russell Crowe will come out and ring that bell before the game. The bulldogs were never, ever going to win that grand final no matter how well they played.

You could identify moments in the whole game where time could have been wasted. With 5 mins to go we should have won that game.

yes obviously I realise that.. common sense, obviously isn’t very common, but would tell you with 12 men and 5 mins to go up by 6, that’s a perfect opportunity to take some time off.

Would love to see the role of the dice and bringing out the gimp with a Hazleton &/or Colquhoun - but I’ll leave that to Mr Wolf…sorry Fitz

Redfern sux
Nostalgic Reflections on Redfern. Autumn , 2015, Based on a true story
Visiting my terminally ill sister who had a unit in building behind the Mounted police complex in redfern/surrey hills,. She wanted to take walk to park near redfern oval where she had some trees she loved to draw, and had done some kind of art classes nearby.

Beautiful Autumn day ,casually strolling down there, Im dressed in dress pants and shirt ( not my ussual attire -certainly not my work attire!) Anyway passed a scruffy looking gentleman in shorts and singlet with plastic bag . As he walks past he growls ." Better not come back here after dark ! Your kind gets found with a knife in the guts! "

Pleased that a local wanted to start a pleasant conversation , I replied pleasantly... "Dont forget to take your medication before your appointment with your parole Officer ! " welllll !!!.... Im my worst own enemy sometimes ! He stopped and let fly with a tirade of threats , challenges etc etc, and I kept walking , my ears finely attuned for expected sound of approaching running feet and woosh of a knife cutting through the air to lodge between my ribs. Still had pretty good Bladder control back then so no accidents there. Did make a note for future reference , Discretion is better part of valour , or something like that. He was a white man too so wasnt racial.

Was on the road for work from the early 90s to 2012 - spent much time in the likes of Surry hills and Redfern - the change in time has been dramatic, but like everywhere, flogs still exist
