1 - Kidley
2 - Carney
3 - Gidley
4 - Carmont (only a cork apparently)
5 - Tighe
6 - Mullen
7 - Johns (C)
8 - Smith
9 - Buderus
10 - Woolnough
11 - Simpson
12 - Reynoldson
13 - Tanner

14 - Davico
15 - Bailey
16 - Perry
17 - Lowrie

I hope Hinton gets a run, but I'm not sure if Hages will "throw him to the lions." It is a Friday night blockbuster in front of whats going to be a huge crowd, against a team who has players like Barrett, Gasnier and Cooper in it. Could be wrong though.

Tolar must be in - so the last spot is between Perry and Davico IMO.
We are getting too many big slow guys if we have Perry, Davico and Smith all in the side.

You are saying Tolar should be picked before Perry???

Slow? Did you see Smith chasing Tighe when he made his break?

Perry has to start ahead of Wolly.

If we get an injury in the backline then we'll see Simpson in the centres again with that side!

I do agree that Hagan will put Kurt Gidley at fullback though.

Riley Brown will get the final bench spot - whilst he was poor last night he doesn't warrant dropping all together.

He's been poor all season. Aside from his twinkle toes attempts he's a guaranteed try-bombing every match.

so we go with 4 forwards on the bench? a big reason why we are doing so well this year is because we have another option in the backs if need be. if Mullen starts (and given the Footy Show has just said Seage and Carmont should be both out next weekend), who is the option? Simmo to the centres like last year?

If Buderus has a dodgy back as suggested on Sportsworld this morning he might start at hooker again any way...

At least all this bad injury news virtually gaurantees that Mullen will be at 5/8 and Kidley will be either centre or fullback!

Alex, our option on the bench to cover for injuries in the backs will be to keep Bailey on the bench. Either him or Brown keeps his spot.

Good point...Bailey did play a bit of Centre late in the game and gave a great pass to Tighe for his try. Brown has added some value this year and while he has had his share of bad games, he's played some decent footy this year too. He is young and worth spending some time on...
