Mate, fairy tales are rare and we've not seen since 2001. They were always going to find a way to lose.
It's the new norm for us, better to accept it and it makes watching and following a little easier.
Agree 100%. After getting to a good lead and in the box seat to win only their second game, you'd think they'd literally kill blokes to win that game.
Nope, dumb penalties, mistakes and poor options. They are comfortable with losing.
They cared - they just weren't up to it. A top 4 NRL team against a NSW Cup team.
Stop being ridiculous.
Does Hodkinson actually speak on the field??
What did people think of Tapine's performance today?
Bullshit. Utter bullshit
That loss came down to 3 key plays made by guys who have played Origin. 2 were awful 5th tackle plays that handed possession and field position to the Raiders when they should have been working it out of their own end and the other was one of the laziest things I've seen from a first grade fullback ever
If those guys aren't "up to it" then the game is simply unwinable for us ever.
So you're saying that Gagai, in his role as fullback, shouldn't be expected to have been back there to field that kick? RiiiiiiiiiiiiiightThe experienced guys can't be everywhere doing everything. Once Canberra started throwing the ball around our defence went to shit. It wasn't lost in attack.
He never mentioned three players. He said three plays by origin players - two by plod and one from the pea heartI counted two Origin players out there. Who's the third?

The very fact that we all expected them to lose it at half time shows that they aren't up to it. How is it bullshit?
I think Mullen would have made the difference today. I'm not sure whose decision it was to go for the two but usually in that situation Mullo just grabs it and gets on with it so it wouldn't have been a decision to begin with. Not sure if it was Brown or Hodko's decision but none of them seemed to have the experience/smarts to just run in and get on with it.
3 plays mate, not players. Try to read first
The game was lost cause or great, expensive signing doesn't put the plays on, the same plays he makes earlier in the game mind you, when they count at the back end. He and Gagai are more than up to it but choose to dog it for us
What fans think doesn't prove shit. The young guys were up for it and needed our senior guys to steady when it got tough. It's not rocket surgery
Jesus. We might need a therapist in here.
Hokko and Gagai didn't "dog it" because they are our highly paid players. Just like the young blokes didn't "dog it" because they are young and should be given a free pass.
Our situation is what it is. The season is done. Any improvements are steps forward and we were literally in the game past 80 minutes. It's been months since we played this well.
Mate - mistakes happen. Errors in judgement happen.
They put in. They had a go. They made some poor plays at crucial times. It happens - even more when you try too hard and overplay your hand.
Suggesting he would have taken that bounce if it was Origin and not the Knights isn't really fair...
Might not be fair but it's true, not a hope in hell that ball finds the opposition if it's in Origin.
