Here is a thought, last week when we were in the oppostion 20, who would you rather have the ball ... Tim Smith or Robson... and I don't care about tackles and when they have the ball, if you don't score you don't win
This is an important few weeks, historically between weeks 5 and 10 are when decisions are made for recruitment and retention. Like most I am not sure the team names 1-17 will be the run on side.
I would prefer to have had Tim Smith. At least he was fresh because he had Gallen, Barrett, Douglas, Millington & Co doing his tackling for him, and he wasn't worn out by being belted in tackles, or from making plenty of dashes. Of course you prefer to have him. Who wouldn't.
If Tahu catches the ball, and Grothe moves back a foot and takes a clean pass instead of a forward one.....Eels win....Gee Robbo was hopeless...If Hayne is not obstructed (accidentally), and Hindmarsh is his usual defensive self, Ferguson doesn't score either try. Eels win
AND if Aunt Annie had balls she'd be your Uncle..
Disappointment clouds a lot of clear vision.....
The easiest thing is to drop Robbo......but who wants to take the easy way out? NOT ME....
Talk about a packet of marshmellows. Take the strain....it'll turn around. It is not as if the NSW Cup team is setting the world on fire.
AS John Ryan says "I won't stop smoking because I'm no quitter".
Jack Gibson had a good saying "Dance with those that brought you".
Daniel Anderson knows what are his best options. He is paid to make decisions. I'll go with him, rather than blokes on here who (in their opinion, which they are entitled to) think they have the solutions.
God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.
