Henderson - I actually think he's gone fairly well over the past two games. Defence has been good, got in and had a dig playing in the backrow last night, and very Hohaia and co started gifting ball to the opposition against Canberra I thought Henderson was making some good in roads behind the ruck.
Matulino - I thought he finally added something last night and once or twice looked ready to go through
Packer - I'm wondering whether the propping rotation was simply better because the big Pac-man wasn't off when Rapira was off?
Royal - is there any news on how James Gavet is going in the Vulcans? Last year I thought Gavet looked a natural, my only question mark on him given he was played in such short bursts is whether he had the ability to go 30-40 minutes in the top grade. I wonder how much time he is on the field for the Vulcans?

Royal - is there any news on how James Gavet is going in the Vulcans?

Malo uso - interesting you mention him bro; he played his 5th game back for the Vulcans yesterday following injury and has steadily increased his playing time. He also started for the first time and went well for 1st 20 minutes (you could see his second wind kick in). He came on for short 10 to 15 minutes stints after that. A couple of offloads and scored a try from a blockbusting run 15mtrs out made for a very tidy game.

His fitness level is close to that of Poching's. He's still a little raw though because of his newness to the game so the more games he gets in NSW the better. But you never know what Ivan's gonna do eh.

Yep that was Lattimore alright. They named him by mistake (instead of Royal). Lats and Moon played for the Vulcans earlier in the day as did Lousi who was named 18th man for topside.
