I hope Miller plays for the Jets, I am interested to see him defend in the front line, have little doubt about his attacking skills, got speed and silky hands.

Lets see how goes with edge forwards running at him, I think he will be fine.

I do like the look of Miller, has some f**king great hands on him. interested to see how he defends in the front line also though. He could be a faster, like for like replacement (skills wise) if Moyza needs time off.

Keep Uele, yet to peak, could field first slip, very skillful big man.

Fifita is on big money, use that.
I wonder how much of that money might already be accounted for. Toby was re-signed on reasonable dollars last year, we also bought Finucane and Mccinnes who wouldn't have been cheap and we've bought Oregon Kafausi for next year who is a middle.

McInnes came across on something like 500 (I can’t remember the details). Toby was something like 450. Nicho is only on 600. Our highest paid players would be Graham and Fifita who are both off contract. Below that would be Dale I assume who got around 700. These are just numbers from the papers so who knows the real ones

Woods. Dugan. SJ. Townsend.
Plus a huge pay cut for Moylan this year.. we'd be pretty healthy cap wise in 2023 depending on what happens with Graham and Fifita, but you'd have to think we wouldn't have to lose tooo many. It's just planning for retention of all those guys in 3-5 seasons time when their value increases: Hynes, Kennedy, Ramien, Mulitalo might all be up for big contracts

This is where Mooney/Fitz really comes into play, how much do we spend who can we lose and we will lose players, look at the storm.
It's then having players in the system to replace them.
So that next line of players becomes so important.

Winning puts the ball back in our court because players are less likely to want to walk from a successful stable environment. Not to mention new players wanting to get on board.

Maybe Miller needs a few more games in the NRL. With SSO on the horizon he may get a run. He looks good tho.

I do this thing in my head where I run through the team lists and do ‘head to head’ comparisons of the individual players…

Going from 1-17 - I can’t see one Tigers player that I would rather have than our 17.
