I agree tama
Davo is top stuff, missed last year with injury, but the year before that was coming up the ranks really nicely, look forward to watching him again

Last week Aitken was still green this week he's number 7. (Rapers words about Russ being green)
Were there a few nerves in that post Foz?

the forums has risen to new heights or (sunken to new lows?) today, everybody is qualifying their posts.

Kris Pyper is also avaliable for the first time this year for Flegg being on the bench. Has a heap of potential has just been cut down with injury too much in the last season or two. If he can remain injury free he should be able to work he way up through the grades. He had a few games in PL as a 17/18 year old so he goes ok.

Good to see Stu stick with Russ at number 7. It is important he backs up last weeks performance to get his confidence levels up even more.

Hopefully the likes of Vagana and Stevo play, especially Stevo. We missed his go forward the most along with Peach's defensive pointers from the back last week.

No Reefy I am aware of the fued but havent really read all the posts to get into it.
I dont really care about it anyway.
I just thought Raper has come out one week saying how Russ was green around the edges and 30-40 mins of football later Russ has the responsibility of leading us around the park.
I think Aitken has great potential but I dont wont to see him crucified if he has an ordinary one.
Sully has been shifted after 1 game at half but it doesnt mean he cant play half either.

Dead right Foz.
In fact, I don't go along with Millers opinion of Raper agreeing with him, by putting Sully on the bench.
laurie Daley was right when he said(before the raiders) the biggest loss for the Sharks, is not having Sullivan.
Sully is a victim so to speak of his own good play as an impact player. The sharks really need that. ATM.

Looks alot better than it did last week. I don't really understand the bench but perhaps there is some reshuffling to do yet.

It seems Sully's days as a no.7 are over! It's a good move having him come off the bench again.

Would anyone really object to Bird having a blinder in PL, then continuing that form in First Grade?

As long as he doens't put anybody out, that has not had the same amount of time as he has had to develop. Especially seeing after that time, he produced nought.
It would be particularly dissappointing if he was promoted on the basis of only a few decent games in PL.
How many did Aitken require before he got a start?
he goes back to square one, works his way up & I can't see anybody minding him & perhaps likeing him.
Any meteoric rises will be viewed with much cynicism from me & probably others.

Since Aitken is playing half, I doubt he is in any danger from Bird. I certainly think that he would be more valuable than Kent on the bench but he does need atleast one week in PL. I still don't see him as a 5/8th but I know he has a future in our side somewhere.

Where ?
Aitken could play 5/8th as well as half.
In fact him & noddy are an exciting prospect from what I have seen so far.
Front row for Bird?

You'd hope Bird has been working his arse off in this 10 weeks to 1 get back in first grade and 2 get a new deal.

Hopefully.

Totally agree,

In fact I am pretty sure I have been calling for a noddy/aitken partnership for about a month or so. I think Bird will probably have to come of the bench and play as a second rower to be honest. We will have the luxury of being able to replace injured backs with him aswell ofcourse.

To be honest, it would be hard to find a spot for him at present given that I don't think he should be at 5/8th.

I'll just say the bench for now.
