I think AWESOME is a bit of an exaggeration for Kent's perfomance. He was OK, solid, not spectacular.

He doesn't offer the same versatility. Look I am not talking about promoting Bird this week, but the choice of Kent on the bench puzzles me regardless of Bird.

He has been seen once. & went well.
Obviously by premier league selections he can play anywhere.
& he has been playing well enough to get the call up.
In fact his game on the wing the other night was better than any game Bird ever had.

Hooker is in the forwards.

I seen Kent play 4 or 5 games last year and he was goin great guns and I told you that and that was why I wanted him in 1st grade this year. Mate I have'nt been to sydney this year so how the hell could i rate him on this years performance.

Kent went good last week. I think he is another one who benefited from the step up to NRL level along with Aitken. I watched him in PL against Souths a few weeks ago and his defence was responsible for two tries as his center opposite got around him twice. At that stage i thought McGoldrick was clearly our best center. I am not gonna crucify McGoldrick for his bad game last week as he had improved heaps till then and a player is entitled to a shocker but i think he is gonna have to watch himself with Kent pushng for a spot.
Kent is apparently highly thought of at the club.
