I take it you didn't think it was an important tackle??

Tackles are tackles, that game there were a number of try saving tackles. And i also find it funny how we're talking about a Premier league GF when as you and Pete have pointed out in the past, the comparisons are light years apart?

And yeah he scored a couple of soft tries in first grade, which any winger could've scored.

He's average, we should be lucky he's gone and have cash avaliable as a subsequence, and now we can concentrate on resigning quality players like Inu & Tautai. Knowing that I feel much better:D

Only time i see him playing is if Fitzgibbon is injured.

the question was did you rate the tackle? personally I would go as far as saying it was as the best try saving tackle I've ever seen. I didn't want you to go into why you don't rate him as a player.

I hope B Smith is ok so we don't have to see Reddy get another crack at centre.

a little harsh one thinks. Reddy has not set the world alight but has done little wrong though. Good reserve to have.

So his name is Aukuso

In some cultures the middle name is the dominate name, or can even refer to a family member, or a line of relation.
It can be thought of as the same significance as a first name, or even as a last name (look at pakistani, or bangladesh cricket teams etc)

Geez eela, it was 1 good tackle! I've seen Michael Erickson and Scott Mahon pullout great try saving tackles. I think the circumstances made it a better tackle then what it was.

And i don't care, your going to hear it;-)

Good to see Inu get his selection in the centres. First injury in position and the kid is now clearly first choice.

Time for Cannings to fire up, play to potential and prove he's earnt that starting spot.

Paulo on a five man bench might mean there's lingering doubt over one of the starting forwards, good for him to feel rewarded for what by reports has been solid Prems form.

This is a winnable game, and a must win to recapture our momentum and confidence.

it appears that you're still trying convince yourself that he's a sh*t player or you wouldn't be going on about it imo. ;-)

I would have to say that Az is faster than Junior.

Really? I think once Junior gets going he isn't exactly travelling at snails pace, Cannings on the other hand...

Cannings is actually one of the quickest forwards in the club.

Not when you're measuring his play the ball, or getting off the tackled player and back in the defensive line ...

But seriously, in attack he looks decidedly sluggish compared to previous seasons.

He used to have a real acceleration and impact in the defensive line. Maybe he's concentrated on bulking up to counter injury problems' maybe he's just trying to eliminate mistakes from his game, but he has looked pedestrian so far TBH.
