Was in Canberra last saturday and was getting ready to watch the Swans pound hawthorn by 65 points. However contrary to the Newspaper all that was on in the nations capitol was the Essendon/Adelaide game.

So money has dictated what they are allowed to watch in the ACT in order to convert people to following the Kangeroos.!!!??? In that the locals ( Not being a part of New Sth wales are fed a Melbourne side versus SA game rather than last yrs Premiers on the tele !!!! :crazy: :sarcasm: :crazy: ;-)

And its not the first time that I've fronted the screen expecting one game and getting another either!

If TEN wants/has to show another game that's fine, just don't advertise the wrong game in multiple media fora all week long, including on the Internet, and - most damningly - in the local paper on the day of the game!

This fixture always does, Chillers!

They can rely on a sellout at the small Manuka ground when Sydney come to town (especially when they're flying high like they currently are), hence their capacity to always show the game on TV as well.

Don't know if they aired the game in Canberra against the Roo's as was in Sydney working......However maybe they should DUMP the Kangeroos down in Canberra and try to get some more SWANS games down there.

The record crowd was 90 % SWANS supporters making the trip down there.

The media blockade on SWANS games does not seem to be working for them !!!!

The main reason this happens is because the Fox Footy coverage in the ACT is the same as Fox Footy in Vic. So Ch10 will play the other game. They did this because at one stage, Fox Footy showed the same game as Ch10, except Fox Footy had it live and Ch10 half an hour later. People complained and it changed.
