I don't know, f**k... the Titans have a startling lack of backline depth IMO.

Odd that Mathers misses out too, considering what they would have paid him. Sorry, but Campbell is no fullback and will be embarrassed if he has to catch bombs. Campbell-Prince is an excellent attacking halves pairing, not so good in defence, but it sure as hell beats Preston at fullback. Delaney is a centre and a pretty good one going off last season, Timmah.

Anyway, that side will go close to the spoon IMO.

Not wrong... they'll walk all over this Titans side.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them win actually, just because its their first game, they'll be fired up to prove alot of people wrong. And the Dragons always start slow. But over the course of the season, I don't think the Titans will be up to it.

yep - Harrison did all sorts of bad things to his leg towards the end of last year.

Could be out the first 2-3 months of the season.

WHERE THE f**k IS RICHIE MATHERS????

I like Matt Hilder at 6. Preston is a pretty good fullback anyway and if Preston aint working then they have Matt Rogers who can easily play fullback as well. Mathers is good but he is still coming back from a long injury last year. He needs time.

When has Preston ever played fullback? Is my memory shot or hasn't he always been in the halves?

His most memorable performance at fullback was in 2002 for the sharks vs the Knights. He had a "cariage"

Ah back in the Sharks days.

Why can't these players pick one position to specialise in?

Are you serious with that question?
There is a certain thing called a coach who calls the shots.
You are crazy

You know what? You're right. Tell Sonny Bill to f**k off out of the centres. :sarcasm:

Presto was selected at fullback against the Eels in their first proper trial game. He switched between fullback and hooker. He got Man of the Match and the Titans won the game. He was selected on the bench in their second proper trial and played at hooker. He scored their first try and was a key man in other tries.

He will be shifted around the field IMO. He is a versatile player, and whenever he has the ball, a very dangerous attacking player. He is just a very soft defender, so at fullback, he should have less work to do.

Titans real problem is the soft forward pack. A very soft pack, Luke Swain couldn't even make the Panthers bench last year without injuries. I think Titans should still win this one though.
