Funny....I was watching the Pura Cup today and flicked opver to Fox News and they said Stewart was likely to be out was he rolled his ankle today at training.

But no mention of that here in the line-up.

The extra player on the bench is a foward,Im assuming thats in cover for Watmough who is coming back from injury???

Manly fans know any more???

For those interested..............

Sharks coach Ricky Stuart has stuck with the team which came away with a dominating victory over Penrith last Saturday night in naming an unchanged line up for Monday’s match with the Gold Coast Titans.

Stuart has opted to retain Brett Kearney at fullback after his enterprising performance against the Panthers, with last year’s No.1 David Simmons to play Premier League as he works his way back into form after missing the back end of 2006 and the pre season trials with a shoulder injury.
Paul Gallen is coming along nicely in his recovery from an ankle injury and is aiming at a return in round three against Souths, while Phil Leuluai, who was named in the NRL team last week but withdrew with injury, is fit to go but will begin his season in Premier League this week.
The Sharks coach admitted selecting a team was becoming increasingly difficult, with few players sidelined with injury and most in reasonable form.
“At present we have great pressure being put on for all positions in the team, with only Paul Gallen on the sidelines and unavailable through injury, which is a healthy situation to be in,” Stuart said.
With an extended training week due to the Monday night scheduling of the round two match, the Sharks will head into the Woolloomooloo PCYC tomorrow for a boxing and wrestling training session with respected boxing coach Johnny Lewis. The Sharks previously attended a session with Lewis prior to their first round game.
After a rest day on Thursday, further training is planned for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with the team leaving for the Gold Coast following their final run on Sunday morning.
The Sharks v Titans match will be the Bundaberg Rum Monday Night Game and will be shown live on Fox Sports.
The lower grades will play on both days over the weekend at different venues, with the Premier League Sharks to face the Wests Magpies at Campbelltown at 2.30pm on Saturday, while the Jersey Flegg match between the Sharks and the North Sydney Bears to take place on Sunday at 2.30pm. That match will be played at the TG Millner Field.

Yeah..but what exactly is there to like about Wallace!
He has a bit of spark to him and managed to make 33 tackles. He wasn't that bad. The Sharks just kept running at him. Gower and Priddis didnt help Wallace. They had no trust in him and he never got the ball with room to work with. I have no issues giving him another chance. Although i would like too see Firman play. I'm expecting him to fit in well and find the form he once had with Dragons.

Nick Youngquest however.... piss him off. Likewise with Brandon Worth. And swap Frank Puletua and Matt Cross. Puletua is better of the bench.
