It used to take 3 matches for the ingrate bludger Stephanie to produce an equivalent output
I can't see any improvement in him at Melbourne to suggest he was going to be our man. Thank God for May.
Hope he builds a long dynasty at WT.
The way I look at it, the WT are perfect for May to showcase his talent, toughness, and fitness. We have excellent playmakers that can make him look good, and he stands out like a beacon compared to a top four team where he'd blend in more.

I'm starting to think he is better than Ellis. You'd love both of them in your team.
I cannot give him that status yet as Ellis was a major reason why we were a premiership threat during that 2009-11 period ….. however May is on the trajectory for sure and should be playing for the blues this year (although I’m gonna f**king hate that, we need him in for the tigers)

That's a big call. If he hangs around he can be.

It's a big call but he is doing as much if not more than Ellis. They are different positions but geez May is a machine.

They both had really good temperaments on the field as well. May just seems to keep his cool the whole time. Ellis did as well.

Yeh when May got whacked early last game he just shook his head and said what the? Then went about his business. Very impressive indeed.
As you said they have different roles, Ellis was more like Yeo so one can't compare. To say one is better than the other is wrong and both have an enormous role in their teams success.
To have both would be totally insane.
I'm also loving the Finau brothers' effect on this team as they will get better and better, and......

I don't think Ellis is anything like Yeo. Ellis was an edge backrower and one of the best ever. Terrel may be able to play lock like Yeo but I don't think his ball playing is anywhere near as good.

If we had Ellis in our team we'd have an awesome team. I reckon Seyfarth has been going great but Ellis is a lot better than Seyfarth.

I love the way May keeps his cool.

Ellis Ball played too. I agree he played the edges but imo both edges and lock are similar, just depends how they are used. In 05 double line attack wasn't as prevalent to what is now.
