Thank God for Mickey Arthur

On another note, I would like to thank Mickey Arthur and Michael Clarke for graciously taking the media heat off The Sharks for a couple of days. This award winning over reaction is testament to their own inability to unite a team. Who needs Stillnox and peptides when you can get dropped for not getting your homework in on time?

So it seems the Poms drop players for texting a South African, whereas the Aussies drop them for NOT texting a South African. Maybe Warnie should come back as SMS coach. Funny game this cricket.

No doubt there is more to this, but Arthur has a superb track record of promoting dissent and disunity within cricket teams while being incapable of recognising any opinion contrary to his own. Actually so does Clarke - ask Simon Katich, Brad Hodge, Mike Hussey and Steven O'Keefe. And of course the real reason Andrew Symonds was sacked is surely one of the best stories of modern day Aussie sport.

Paging Daryl Lehman.

Nice comment:-

"It is disappointing that James Pattinson felt that he couldn't write down three things that he thought he brought to the team. It is even more disappointing that many of the other players in the team felt that they could."

Frenzy.

I brushed cricket a long time ago. Is there a bigger bunch of weirdos with even weirder ideas running that show?

I lost cricket when they started to push 20/20 down my throat. It was non stop overkill.

I think it is sport in general that is on the slide.

Not munch exites me anymore. I mean to say watching the Wallabies used to be as exciting watching paint dry. Now it is like watching paint dry while you are sitting outside in the rain.

Swimming ... yeah.

After seeing the debacle Mickey Arthur has presided over with the test team, i would say on his return to australia he will be a shoe in for a job at the sharks

Watto lives locally and has the right attitude,

Seriously, I think Clarke is doing ok. Not a fan of this modern homework crap but nobody can say something had to change. Batting has been woeful. Watson overrated for years. Will retire citing family reasons and become a 20/20 mercenary. Suits him as you don't have to concentrate for long. Mitchell Johnson ! Cant bowl or complete easy tasks. Pattinson repentant and hopefully will learn from this. Khwaja no loss. Seriously unless they shape up will lose the Ashes 10-0. Now left with Hughes and Cowan. Hughes is unique cant play spin or pace. Get some peptides into them. I have seen Clarke hammered on cricket forums. Poor public speaking and player fallouts. Maybe but they don't cause poor shots and technique. I think Clarke and Pattinson are the only players up to standard. Rest are nuffies.

Not great. We are now crap at Olympics, swimming, cricket, union soccer and footy is pharked.
