On another note, I would like to thank Mickey Arthur and Michael Clarke for graciously taking the media heat off The Sharks for a couple of days. This award winning over reaction is testament to their own inability to unite a team. Who needs Stillnox and peptides when you can get dropped for not getting your homework in on time?
So it seems the Poms drop players for texting a South African, whereas the Aussies drop them for NOT texting a South African. Maybe Warnie should come back as SMS coach. Funny game this cricket.
No doubt there is more to this, but Arthur has a superb track record of promoting dissent and disunity within cricket teams while being incapable of recognising any opinion contrary to his own. Actually so does Clarke - ask Simon Katich, Brad Hodge, Mike Hussey and Steven O'Keefe. And of course the real reason Andrew Symonds was sacked is surely one of the best stories of modern day Aussie sport.
Paging Daryl Lehman.
Nice comment:-
"It is disappointing that James Pattinson felt that he couldn't write down three things that he thought he brought to the team. It is even more disappointing that many of the other players in the team felt that they could."
