Henry fa'afili scored a hatrick and was the match winner for us in attack and defence. He is the best winger in the countr at the moment. nz and a top6 spot can't be to far away from him.

thanks!

He must be enjoying it over there ... I saw a post-try celebration from him a week or two ago, where he got down on one knee and fired a rocket launcher into the crowd or something.

Henry Fa’afili (92)
Mark Tookey (67)
Cliff Beverley (60)
Vinnie Anderson (55)
Justin Murphy (43)
Shontayne Hape (28)
Thomas Leuluai (21)
Nathan Wood (17)
Anthony Seuseu (1)

To another NRL club:
Motu Tony (55)
Jason Death (55)
Kevin Campion (44)
David Myles (41)
P.J Marsh (35)
John Carlaw (35)
Vince Mellars (7)
Jeremiah Pai (2)
Matt Jobson (2)

To the wilderness:

There's a total of 1185 first-grade appearances in that list. And it's only first-graders, so it doesn't count the scores of youngsters that we've let slip through the fingers.

What's my point? Nothing really - but geez, we've let some mighty fine talent walk through the doors.

I've already thrown the paper away and can't remember the team but it dosen't include those who retired (ie Ivan cleary) and includes Stacey Jones.

I don't know if Stacey would make that team ahead of Leuluai.

In fairness though, they are the events of circumstances and the salary cap. I mean, how many of them would we really want back?

To the ESL:
Logan Swann (146) - yeah I would, but having said that, his form up there hasn't been great
Jerry Seuseu (132) - no thank you
Ali Lauiti’iti (115) - god yes
Henry Fa’afili (92) - yes, but can take him or leave him
Mark Tookey (67) - no
Cliff Beverley (60) - no
Vinnie Anderson (55) - yes, god yes
Justin Murphy (43) - no
Shontayne Hape (28) - yes, but then again has been injury prone
Thomas Leuluai (21) - HELLLLLLLLLL no
Nathan Wood (17) - no
Anthony Seuseu (1) - no

To another NRL club:
Motu Tony (55) - yes, but can take him or leave him attitude wise
Jason Death (55) - no, was replaced by pj at the time
Kevin Campion (44) - he's retired now anyhow
David Myles (41) - can take him or leave him, would only be a squad member at best for mine
P.J Marsh (35) - yes, but having said that, I reckon Fien's doing a better job, who would have thought that'd be possible?
John Carlaw (35) - form at the end wasn't the best, no
Vince Mellars (7) - no, lack of committment to the club, adios
Jeremiah Pai (2) - no
Matt Jobson (2) - HELLLLLLL no

To retirement:
Ivan Cleary (53) - can't help that
Richie Blackmore (35) - no
Danny Sullivan (1) - no

To the wilderness:
Justin Morgan (28) - went to france to coach, and still, no
Jonathan Smith (7) - no
Jason Temu (4) - no
Paul Dezolt (3) - no
Mark Robinson (1) - no

Out of all that, you get Ali, Vinnie who are absolutely yes' without there being a but or we've picked up a better replacement. Personally, I think getting Steven Price/Ruben Wiki/Todd Byrne/Nathan Fien's the best buying spree we've ever had.

Now, all we need for next season is to improve again, with perhaps a Matty Bowen/Braith Anasta/Matt King combo. We should definitely be able to get two good buys with Stace going, possibly a third given Awen and Monty in all likelihood aren't going to be on the playing roster for 2006.

Big call  Marsh in 2002 and early 2003 was awesome Iafeta, one of the best in the NRL, I don't think Fien is there yet.

If I had to pick a hooker atm I'd have Fien though, cos who knows if PJ will ever be as good again? Was that your point? Cos if so I agree with it. Considering PJ's injury, I think releasing him and buying Fien was the right move.

well i think you lot are really great as fans. most the players that you have named are more or less makes superleague so good too watch. i cant beleive an aussie/nz team would able to let all of them players go.

good luck to you all and the warriors for the future.
